 last nights episode.

"Being with you is a like walking round with a Henry Hoover dragging behind you, catching on all the furniture"

"Do you have knees?"

"Just sit there and I'll comb your hair"

It was great.

Shame it was only three episodes long, though. It was over almost as soon as it began. :(

There's another episode with Karl, Warwick and Ricky doing a commentary on the 3rd episode. Another cracking episode, I'll miss it. Hopefully Karl can be convinced to do it again.

An Idiot Abroad star Karl Pilkington is to break away from Ricky Gervais for the first time and front his own Sky1 show entitled The Moaning Of Life.

The five-part series will follow the grumpy Mancunian as he travels across the globe to ‘experience how other cultures face up to life’s big issues’.

The Moaning Of Life bears a strong resemblance to his previous Sky1 show An Idiot Abroad, which saw Karl sent to remote destinations by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant in order to experience different ways of life.

‘I’ve been on the planet for 40 years now, and I’m still none the wiser as to what it’s all about really,’ said Pilkington.

‘I’ve never worried about life’s big questions. People at my age sit about pondering about, ‘Why are we here?’ – the only time I ever asked meself that is when Suzanne booked us a surprise holiday to Lanzarote.’

Speaking of the commission, Sky’s head of factual entertainment Celia Taylor added: ‘We are thrilled to be continuing our relationship with Karl following three series of An Idiot Abroad, which all resonated brilliantly with our customers.

‘The Moaning of Life will be a unique take on the challenges that we all face in life, presented in Karl’s inimitable way.’

Pilkington was joined by dwarf actor Warwick Davis on his last round the world trip, but this will be the first time he has presented a programme on his own.

Apparently Gervais is reprising his role as Brent for a one off comic relief special.

Not sure how I feel about this really. The office is one of my favourite comedy shows of all time, but I can see this just being LOL RACISM AND DWARVES.

Brent doesny really work when the guy playing him has a US suntan, shiny eyes and teeth and has a personal trainer.

Try having him show up on everything for the past 10 years and then you'll see why most people are sick to the back teeth of him.

I went to see him on tour a few years back and it was just awful. Literally repeating whole chunks from the XFM podcasts as if it was something that happened to him yesterday (probably assumed people wouldnt have listened to those), oh and it lasted 40 mins and cost nearly £50 each (237 cat teeth in NZ currency).

Anyone else that doesn't hate everything have an opinion? :P

Also that is expensive, I would have to farm some cats to afford that.

You need to realise that the views of the population of GRcade are not the same as the views of Britain as a whole.

And Ad7 represents even fewer peoples views.

Gervais is alright, makes decent TV and is funny enough in interviews/on Twitter. I haven’t seen much of his stand up though so he might be dreadful there.

His first two stand-ups were really really funny, hence why we went to see his third tour. Its only afterwards and listening to the back catalogue of stuff that I twigged most of it was rehashed old conversations, and most of that was things Karl came out with.
