Felt it wasn't the funniest episode but a decent return.

Does anyone just want the K-Man back on the Radio. Even him putting on songs.. and talking inbetween them like he did for QRadio once is soo good?

Karl loves awful puns. Educating Ricky on the XFM show saw a lot of that.

There's 4 minutes of deleted scenes on Sky on Demand, seems like they'll be one every week.

Karl just did an AMA on Reddit.

A highlight:

In a age where literally everyone has a camera in their phones, how is it possible that no one has ever gotten a definitive picture of Suzanne out in public with you somewhere? Not saying she doesn't exist; it is just remarkable that not one picture has surfaced in 15 years.

No one wants her picture.

Karl Pilkington to star in new Sky sitcom

Karl Pilkington is to write and star in a new sitcom series on Sky 1
Sick Of It will see the comedy star playing a fictional version of himself, and the voice inside his head
The character of Karl has been dumped by his long-term girlfriend and is now living with his elderly auntie

Karl Pilkington is to star as a version of himself in Sick Of It, a new sitcom series for Sky 1.

The channel explains: "Sick Of It is a scripted comedy series that sees Karl Pilkington takes on two roles - himself, and the voice inside his head, as he muddles through the mundane life he may have led if he hadn't met Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant."

Karl Pilkington: Sick Of It will follow the character of Karl, a middle-aged man recently ditched by his long-term girlfriend, as he muddles through life and attempts to make sense of the modern world.

Now living with his elderly auntie, Karl's closest companion is the voice in his head, a crotchety, misanthropic alter ego who takes the form of his doppelgänger - it's the uncensored true version of Karl that says what he really thinks without the risk of offending others.

As Karl attempts to move on from the break up and sort out his life, the voice in his head appears periodically to guide, criticise and dispense his unorthodox philosophy of life.

Karl Pilkington says: "For most people the inner self is there to help make decisions but mine mainly confuses me and pushes me in the wrong direction. I'd say that doing this series was inner self's idea. I've only just realised that I'm playing myself twice but only being paid once. Like I say, my inner self doesn't really look out for me."

The sitcom has been written by Pilkington and director Richard Yee and is being produced by the team behind his hit travel shows An Idiot Abroad and The Moaning Of Life.

He was good in Derek. And the stuff he has written is funny. Little reason to doubt this'll be good, especially since he's playing himself.

Will watch it obviously but I'm expecting him to reuse a load of old XFM material.

Do people not realise that the only reason Karl was funny in the first place was because he'd just moan at things. He in himself isn't funny.

I used to love the podcasts and Idiot Abroad and all that, but it’s a bit old hat now.
