Just been to see Steve, proper funny

One thing though, he asked for a bloke to go on stage, nobody said anything so I shouted , " STEVE!" he asked if I was a mental then asked for someone else The people he picked we're planted, so why ask?

He did the same thing at the show I was at. Either the "not you, you sound mental" thing is a regular joke, or he just doesn't want anyone too eager (ie possibly drunk and will ruin the bit). Very much doubt he has plants though.

I saw him last Thursday (in Bristol). Was a great set and he did indeed use the "not you, you sound mental" line. However, there was a drunk guy right at the back (up on a balcony as well) who just kept shouting "me me me". Steve said "no you are too far away" and he carried on asking somebody to get up. This bloke then started to run down as if he thought Steve was going to change his mind or that he could get there in time.

strawberry float the naysayers, this series is just as good, if not better than the first.

Out of interest was the woman pretty short with dark hair and the guy quite a muscly bloke (was wearing a cap on the friday). Be interested to see if they were plants (not that it reaaaally matters).

No we had different people. The woman was dark haired but didn’t seem that short. The bloke was a emo looking guy with long hair. From where I was sat, he looked more feminine than the girl.

Listened to the Thanksgiving podcast from way back when a few nights ago. It is so choc full of Karl at his best/worst that I got next to no sleep at all.

Just caught up with last weeks episode. strawberry floating brilliant. One of the best episodes of either series. That cuddle party. American's are strawberry floating weird, man. "I look like Spiderman at a funeral." He genuinely seemed to love the Amish way of life. Probably the most content I've ever seen him.
