The Last of Us II - 60 fps PS5 patch out now

Is it the Ellie Edition that's £160 as I'd be mildly tempted by that. I like the bag and a few of the niknaks but like strawberry float do I want a statue and the soundtrack being on LP is just elitist wankery that I wish ND would move away from.

Ellie’s edition is US only.

Collector’s Edition is the same but doesn’t have the backpack and a soundtrack vinyl record.

I haven’t plat’d The Last of Us (probably will never will as the only ones left is the mutliplayer ones) but I have played it 6 times. When I finish off Borderlands 3, may will do a Grounded difficulty run.

The demo ended with Ellie dropping down into another portion of the level, only for some mysterious pair of meaty dad arms to pull her aside. At first, she struggled. Then she turned around and asked “What are you doing here?” It was Joel. “I couldn’t let you do this on your own,” he replied. That was it. Demo over.

For the record, I don't think there's any way Joel is making it through the game alive. But, it does indeed look like the call to adventure is something that happens to Dina that gets Ellie and Joel together again

This is rubbish, the multiplayer in the first game was fantastic, one of my favourite and most played online shooters by quite a margin

Such a shame that there might not be any multiplayer.

If it took away from the single player campaign then it's understandable but Naughty Dog are a big company with two teams? Hopefully it's added at a later date, if not, I may have to go back to the first one.

I started reading a couple of previews and they already reveal too much. Eurogamer has an interview with one of the writers, but I had to stop because of it going in to whose story it is and why and what their journeys will be, blah blah blah - all too much. So I skimmed over most but the fridging question is in there!

I have come in here to check that Good Ol' Crispy hasn't done anything stupid? Is he OK? I know he loved the Multiplayer of TLoU and with this not having it I want to check he's ok.

No multiplayer, that can't be true. I'll be very pissed off it is.

Edit: seems it is. Well strawberry float off with this news. Can't put into words how disappointed I am at this. Been waiting for this multiplayer for years as the last one was so strawberry floating good. From being just about my favourite developer around 5/6 years ago, ND just seem on a hot streak of annoying me this gen. Sounds really entitled but they keep moving away from stuff I want. This just slipped way the strawberry float down my most wanted list


So strawberry floating disappointed.

This is the most sad/annoyed/angry/upset I've ever been at any gaming news.

It is shame to hear about the multiplayer, but the main game is the main thing for me to be honest.

Like God of War, Spider-Man or Horizon.
