You forgot about them saying it has PS2 style graphics.

£55

Where are people getting this whole ‘I’m nervous it’s going to be a bit crap’ vibe from? I mean...look at the studios output the last 7/8 years.

I’m not worried it’ll be crap, just that the first one was so good (especially the story and the characters) that I just don’t know how Part 2 can equal or better it, personally I’d have been more excited for it if it was a game in the same universe but without any connection to the first game (except maybe an Easter egg or two relating to some of the bigger events in it), so brand new cast of characters, other side of the USA for example.

It's going to be very hard to live up to the expectations people have for this.
I just hope they haven't made any drastic changes and the fact they seem to have stuck with the crafting gives hope that they haven't.

Yeah, never said I thought it was going to be crap. Just wasn't looking as forward to it as I thought I would be. Obviously the hype levels would tail off after the reveal trailer high, but beyond that I felt apathetic toward the game. But now that we're getting close to release, I'm feeling the excitement build again. Though I still think I won't enjoy it as much as I would have had Ellie stayed the same age. (Not yet feeling the connection to older Ellie, and I also don't like the hyper violence.)

I’m watching, and I’m excited. Just hearing Joel, Ellie and the music. But I’m thinking I don’t want to see too much so I might turn off.

I switched it off when they said they were doing a deep dive and showing a lengthy gameplay segment. I won’t be getting this at launch but I still don’t want to se anything and will wait until I actually play it

I thought it was a Vita. Whatever it was, she was playing or listening to Hotline Miami and deserved better.

Well it looks good? feeling a bit more hyped after watching it but nothing on the level of the first one. Graphically looks amazing, presume this footage was probably grabbed from a PS4 Pro rather than a base spec one. They took an already violent first game and have taken it up another notch, it looks brutal.

Looked like more of the same to me.
