Cats are fast. You’d need an RPG.

I'd buy that DLC

I have a question, haven’t managed to read every post in here since release but haven’t seen it mentioned and I inexplicably missed it on my first play through. Was probably still in state of shock at the time. Not a spoiler...who spotted Sam’s toy on Ellie’s shelf in her room? She kept it all those years to remember him.

I did not see that :'(

My favourite references I spotted a bit like that (but less TLOU related) were pretty obvious - the Jak X arcade machine and Hotline Miami on the Vita

The fighting game from left behind is in there too, forgot its name. Tons of PS3 in there too most with no games around but found one with a stack of uncharted 1 and 2 plus Jak collection.

And Nate Drakes ring is there.

I think my favourite one that I saw is the movie poster in the radio room of the cinema (I think), I’m pretty sure it’s for the film she talks about seeing with Joel to Dina. One of the characters on the poster is clearly meant to be Nathan Drake.

Oh nice! I was a bit disappointed the few times I stopped to search around a room with a PS3 in it but couldn't find any games on any shelves. Do you remember where that was? I crave finding those Jak references

I thought he looked like Drake too

One particular touch (post Seattle day 3) I’ve noticed is that if you look down from a height the view stretches out and becomes desaturated, signalling Abby’s vertigo. Her breathing becomes heavier and she curls her body up
more because of the fear. If you quickly whip the camera around you’ll see the fear fade from her face but you can jump into photo mode and get a better look at the terror on her face.

I missed the precursor orb too! Just looked it up and it sounds like it was pretty obvious, so that's on me I guess

They were pretty early on iirc, I wanna say there were a few in Ellie's room? And on patrol before you leave Jackson?

Can't remember exactly where it was but it's very early in the game during the patrol with Dina. I've missed it on my second play-through...

I spoilered the images because of size they don't contain any spoilers.

Funnily that PS3 after 26 years(?) of sitting there is still less dusty than that infamous one that Sony refused to fix.

That's in Eugene's hideout when Ellie and Dina get trapped in the storm.

Neat

Those charging cables don't take well to being zoomed in on though :P

Thank glob they kept the chapter select in this – I'll happily replay the finale of Hillcrest :dread: if it means I get the short gun holster.

I love how you're super bothered about spoilers until you've finished the game

I swear there's a Naruto reference in Ellie's room lol >,>

Also a quick note on choice, even tho I'm still too early for a take in this. But there was a moment where one of the human NPC's fell to their knees and begs the player to let them go. I waited as long as I could hoping they would leave or just surrender. They just end up standing and going back to shooting you into a really awkward transition. In the context of this world, I have no problem taking these dudes down.

On my second play-through just noticed another easter egg I missed first time....

During the birthday flashback, just after the space shuttle part when you jump into the water, if you swim to the right there's a wooden pallet. Ellie asks Joel if he want's to give her a ride.
