I'm predicting something World War Z multiplayer style with infected enemies

I'm already likingYara and Lev. That section was high tension tho, dang. But that hoard encounter where you get left behind got really frustrating since I hadn't really focused my build on offence much. Spent a good while on that part trying since I kept messing up. But then figured out you can just run to the other side and camp in the corner so it's less overwhelming. The revolver takes down shamblers in a few hits too which I didn't know. Was wasting my shotgun rounds. The game kinda goes into this Uncharted vibe with it's locations lol. Also not sure that sex scene was really needed ">_>

That bit on the boat is freaking ridiculous  It's like I'm a kid back playing games on a Speccy and am too scared of doing anything for fear of strawberry floating up. THEY'RE EVERYWHERE FFS!!

How have the WLF not seen those bridges?! I'm sure there's a scene in the game where you see either a makeshift wooden bridge or scaffold as you're wandering about as Abbey. I mean the way they wrote it off is so cheap. And don't tell me it's always foggy like that  And how noisy are Lev's footsteps?! Bloody hell.

Still hating on Abbey but I didn't make her suffer on the height stuff. Tried to get it over for her asap.

I'm now looking for a mask. Don't fancy doing that right now so will leave it for when it's lighter outside

I think the idea is that while obviously you would see a crane collapsed across two buildings, you wouldn't suspect it was being used a bridge because that's kind of insane. The wolves haven't literally never looked up, they've just never considered the scars would move around like that

There's another hint at it as well, I'm sure I saw it not that long ago. (A wooden structure of some description beside a high-rise.) Hence why I wasn't surprised when it was revealed how Seraphites move about to avoid the WLF. I mean obviously that wooden structure wasn't the bridge, but it would be enough to give the WLF a clue.

I thought this but when I played and saw it first I knew it would be a bridge or something and was shocked Ellie didn’t get to use it. Then it made sense

Lev is too precious, I love him. The contrast with Abby is just amusing and I've already chuckled at a few of their back and fourths lol. The whole segment with going up the building was pretty cool. Genuinely conveyed the terror of heights quite well, I was shook. But to then to go back down infested filled floors was equally as horrifying. Hate stalkers and those infected that jump out of the wall at you ">,>

They’re coming outta the walls. They’re coming outta the goddamn walls!

That whole section in the building where you were supposed to take the lift down but are then looking for a mask and then a way out: :dread: :toot: :dread: :toot: How they didn't use that line from Aliens in hommage to Bill Paxton, I'll never know. I didn't think this at the time, but now that I'm done with that place, it's a shame they made them easier to tell apart from the bodies which stayed put :slol: I took one out with the crossbow while it was still in place and Lev was all "Wow" 8-)

It's like reading about something but really slowly...

I'm similar, I'm too impatient and would rather read something, as I can obviously read much faster than waiting for someone to finally get to the point :slol:

Just completed this, I thought it was great, although a bit relentlessly dark and depressing.

I did have a minor bug/glitch at the end which kind of ruined the atmosphere of a pivotal scene, when Ellie is fighting Abby by the boats, somehow Lev had transported out of the boat and was stood there watching the entire fight. Was slightly creepy

That entire Hospital section felt so Resident Evil, even down that monstrous boss. I saved up my Flamethrower ammo specifically for this moment. It helped shorten the fight but was still terrifying having to circle around it properly. Also cool to get another Sniper encounter, tho it wasn't as cool as the first game. Seeing Tommy had me shook. Now onto the Island, where I feel it's gonna start feeling more Resident Evil 4 lol.

Finished the story and did it on survival mode,
clocked nearly 40 hours. It wasn't too restrictive on ammo so the game was still fun. Only temporarily dropped the difficulty down for the rat king (died so many times I googled) as I had no flame thrower ammo and the clicker that comes off it never dies which strawberry floated me off and I kept dieing even with 9 pipe bombs and multiple head shots. Usually died at least once in most sections, each time it's brutal to watch :slol: was satisfying when I could do a section first time without dieing.

Wanted Abby and Ellie to team up and find a cure for everyone that wouldn't end up killing Ellie, another unsatisfactory ending. However the game was quite simply amazing and im sure there will be another game in 7 years to give me what I want. Graphics, story, gameplay, "feels" all top notch It's just a brilliant, brilliant game.

Question though, how do you climb down ladders?

You're never going to get a happy ending like this

Would have made no sense for them to team up

it's not beyond the realms of possibility they have both killed each others loved ones and have both backed out of killing each other when given the chance(despite killing countless humans for the opportunity :shifty: ). There was a few times I thought the game was not going to at least give me that happy ending, hated when it looked like I would deal the final blow to one of them.
