Anyone else been watching this?

So far it's been quite enjoyable. And given Michael Bay's involvement surprisingly few explosions.

Still can sort of tell Michael Bay is involved. Mainly from the line "Sir, we've got the President of the United States on the comm".

I watched this and while it was Ok the odd thing that struck me was how similar the episode was (apart from the setting being on the sea rather than on land and space) to the opening of Battlestar Galactica.
The crew also didn't seem bothered about the fact that Paris or London (it wasn't clear which was the target) had just been nuked and just buggered off and didn't mention it again. As far as I know they didn't even radio to ask which city had been hit let alone care about the possible casualty numbers or whether or not the area hit had been a possible safe haven for uninfected.
