Just met The Director, Ms Purah.
"Check it!"
 .

I'm now on a mission to restore the blue flame for Purah.

Edit: Just as I went to light a torch on the blue flame... the weather has turned atrocious. It's chucking it down and this puts the torch out. Guess I'll have to wait a while for better weather.

Edit: I've just complete the Myham Agana shrine (the one containing the ball in a motion maze puzzle). I completed it but I'm not sure if I did it correctly. The maze contained a small object (a treasure chest?) that I tried to bash the ball against, but nothing happened. I guess there is a way of collecting it? Anyhow, I kinda flicked the ball across the gap by making it jump and that solution worked.

Edit: The weather cleared and I completed the torch challenge. So, the Sheikah Slate jas been updated and I gotta go see Impa. Will do so this evening!

After trying to locate one of the "photo memories" spots without success, I've been exploring and climbing mountains. Just unlocked the Hateno Tower at Kakariko Village... what an amazing view from the top!

I haven't activated many towers so I'll start looking out for them.

Searching for the towers was probably my favourite thing about the whole game.

Very late game spoilers, Jawa don't read

I've done the 4 beasts but have 9 memories left. I really want to stock up on guardian arrows, but the only way I know to get them is to buy them from the robot, but I'm lacking on shafts. There's an old temple to the north of the castle in a valley that has lots of guardians I could go after, but I'm not skilled enough to consistently reflect/dodge two beams at the same time even with a guardian shield - if I had any left. I'll keep trying though.
Also the centaurs are strawberry floating insanely hard. Not defeated one yet.
Currently chasing after a dragon on a mountain to the north of the dessert. I've only had dealings with one dragon before, near the zoras, and the game told me what to do and that was ages ago now so I can't really remember what I need to do. I remember shooting it a few times with arrows to get a scale, but I can't remember if there was more to it.

Reply to your spoiler
The dragon in the snowy mountain place?
It had blob things on it like you get in the devine beasts and you had to shoot the eyes on them to kill that as it flew about the place.

Regarding the last bit
I'm not sure I remember which dragon it is thats there (I think its the yellow/electric one) but I found the best place to farm stuff from him was in the jungle area south of Hyrule Bridge. Near an outpost thats next to a lake with some wooden bridges. Around here was quite easy to catch an updraft from the the dragon and shoot away. Also try shooting different parts of the dragon. :P If its the red/fire dragon you want I found that the main bridge which heads east that goes over the canyon (the one with the guardian temple). Its got an outpost on one side and on the other I think a place with flying guardians. It might be above the Goron mini game. Anyway, the dragon flies up the canyon and the bridge is an excellent jumping off point.

I think if that happens you have to leave the forum and give up gaming.

It's neat that my tentative steps into Hyrule are inspiring other GRcadians to re-vist the area too :-).

Yeah I'm thinking of starting it now I have the pro controller and giving it all another go. Got 2 beasts last time before I drifted as I got the Xbox one and that enlightened me to how strawberry floating bulky the game pad is.

I've been meaning to go back and complete it for a while. Jawa has inspired me to do so.

Going to be hellish going back as I was mainly navigating new areas by memory of where I had been before. I was doing full exploration round the map instead of just main story stuff.

If you have the DLC, then there's the hero path map toggle to see where you've been. It's immensely helpful, but I can't beleive they locked it behind a paywall.

I'm begrudgingly going to see impa, so I can then go get the camera and memory feature for the slate as I'm encountering lots of rare stuff at the moment that I should be documenting. I'm consciously going the 'wrong' way on this play to approach things from a different direction and order.
