The DLC adds some good stuff but I think you'd appreciate hero's path (or whatever it is called) - seeing your exact route across the whole map is great for spotting anywhere you didn't explore! Considering you are asking if you have missed anything, that's probably the spoiler-free way of finding anything left yourself. Although it does sound like you've ticked off most of the big things!

Yeah, that was the main reason I was interested - but it doesn't look like it's available any more. :(

Shame Nintendo didn't realise a Complete/GOTY retail edition of Breath of the Wild, the map route seems more of a quality of life feature which could be in the base game.

Oh you'll get one, a deluxe edition that has an exclusive increased frame rate, only for the new switch model, and for £49.99 :toot:

Yep for all the ways that they try to make a quick buck, I like that Nintendo don't currently release 'GotY editions' - or not on the same platform at least. Of course, they're generally 5-10 years behind the rest of the triple-A space, so that probably means we'll start getting them soon!

Yeah, it's only available if you the Expansion Pass now (includes both DLC packs). I'd say it's worth it if you're looking for reasons to spend more time in that world.

Wouldn't GOTY editions be good things? Given Nintendo games don't really reduce, a GOTY edition with the DLC would be better value....

Nintendo would probably call it 'complete edition' or something.

And yes there are 3 dragons

What do you do to the dragons? I tried attacking one with arrows in mid-air but it didn't even notice me.

If you hit it with an arrow, a scale will fall off and land somewhere close by. These scales are rare upgrade materials.

I believe there are 4 different types of materials that you can get from each dragon - claw, scale, fang and horn I think.

As well as being useful for upgrades they are also incredibly powerful ingredients for recipes!

Well I didn't know that, I've only ever got scales from them. I take it that's hit location dependant then.

I love seeing the dragons just flying about, they look majestic.

Apart from one I think thats basically it. They just drop more guff for you to collect. which is pretty disappointing tbh

Thanks all for the replies.

I agree with you there Matt, I thought that I had missed something when they kept flying but just dropped items.

This other one that you mention, whereabouts should I be looking for it?

Pretty sure the DLC has only ever been available through the expansion pass.

You may have done it already but one dragon has a quest in which he needs freeing and lives ontop of a big snowy mountain. Thats all the tips I'm giving you for that. :capnscotty:

Really? Now you say it that does feel kind of familiar, but this page for just The Master Trials pack says:

This content is no longer available to purchase in Nintendo eShop.

The wording of 'no longer available' implies that it used to be available separately. Probably just a quirk of the system.

Think that's just Nintendo's online being Nintendo'd, yeah

Now I see why Dan was confused though.

Thanks for that, I think I still have a few sidequests with snowy references so I'll work on them when I next play. I'm thinking if getting back into it soon as a break between XC2 and Future Connected/Torna. I'm quite sure I'm nearly at the final battle in XC2.

I think that's because they labelled it an expansion pass (basically a season pass) so if you paid for that at release you'd get 2 or 3 downloads. You never could purchase them individually.

"It should be common sense to just accept the message Nintendo are sending out through their actions."
