The problem with BotW in general is that it's too big.

I couldn't give a flying strawberry float about the Zelda timeline and I don't really know why anyone does - just enjoy each game!

Stuff is spread out but not ridiculously so so that you have to walk to months to get anywhere. I did the whole game by foot (I mean I fast travelled but I never got a horse) and it didnt feel like I was walking forever to get the next place.

I much prefer smaller tighter Zelda games, and smaller tighter games in general. Open World games really don't do much for me most of the time, other than bore me. Some don't, most do.

See I adored the open world of this. Sure, it wasn't perfect, but I really did enjoy exploring it for the most part.

Got my switch under a week ago and according to my device I've already put over 50 hours into this :lol:

don't even see how that's possible. Maybe not a huge amount of time for some of you but I barely play games anymore, that's insane for me.

In fact surely that must be off, I've been working and doing some other things as well...

I highly doubt it's telling you you've put more than fifty hours into it if you only started playing less than a week ago. Times don't start showing until after ten days, where it just tells you how many days ago you started playing. If it is saying more than 50 hours played, it's definitely got a temporary glitch in its tracking system.

I mean, it is telling me that. Would be a very strange thing to make up. That makes sense though.

Where did you get your Switch from? If it second hand or something maybe it's counting time played in the past. Not sure how that works though if it's a new user or the console has been wiped.

Zelda's second hand, the switch is new though. Nevermind, I'll see if it updates accurately in the future.
