The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (suzz :wub:s it <3)

I managed to get the Gamecube bonus disc with MM on a few days ago from some random market.
First game I've played on the Wii since like... the console came out.

ONLY A TENNER. BARGAIN.

I'd been looking for it for ages, I'd forgot how amazing it was

Far better than Twilight Princess. Not sure it's better than the Wind Waker though...

Link's Awakening is amazing. Easily in the top 1 Zelda games. Never had the DX version, old skool regular Gameboy version for me.

I just couldn't get into it. After the awesomeness of the original Zelda it seemed very boring to me. The next Zelda i played properly after zelda 1 was actually Zelda OOT. Then i went back to ALLTP. All the time i couldn't get into the Gameboy one. it seemed so wrong..and differrent.

No Gameboy game that features a song like that can possibly be rubbish... :wub:

I can't stop listening to that remix. :lol:

I can't go a day without playing it.

Turns out I have that disc. Problem is, it's scratched to buggery.

Majora's Mask. I like all Zelda games to be honest, (apart from CD-I games that is..not that I've played them before, but they look gooseberry fool.)

I loved Majora's Mask. Sure, it was difficult to get into at first (not being able to save until the end of the first day as a Deku scrub was really irritating) and it took some time to get used to the 3 day dynamic, but once I got over those initial hurdles I realised what a superb game I was playing.

Majora's Mask is perhaps the first game where I felt actual emotional attachment to the characters. I think there was a bit you had to do to get one of the masks where you prevented Anju and Kafei (are those names right?) from getting married. You end up in Anju's room with her in her wedding dress, waiting for the moon to totally destroy everything and she's there, absolutely adamant that her husband-to-be will return any moment so that they can be together as the world ends. :cry:

I loved being able to transform in a Deku scrub, a Goron and a Zora. I loved the personalities of the people in the Clock Town and how you could follow them around on their chores over the 72 hours. I loved the darker tone, that wasn't emo as previously suggested, just more 'realistic fantasy' (if you'll excuse that awful oxymoron). I loved the bit right at the start when you move Link to jump over a gap and he does a little flip. :wub:
