The first seed has expired appearantly Second one still up, though.

I was thinking of doing 3-hearts challenge although I'd like it if I could tell it to leave heart upgrades alone so I know what chests to avoid, or at least get rid of them completely if that's doable -- I know that's asking for punishment but :eyes:

For now I'll def look into making a seed; dunno what I want to go for other than obviously recolours.

Near end of my seed and gotta say when I'm having fun there's things I don't like about it.

Shopkeepers havin important items sounds good on paper but when they get more than one important item it's bit eh. If it was per shop, that would be ok.

Hero Mode though is fantastic fun, glad I went for that one.

I managed to finish my first Majora's Mask.

That was brutal. Certainly not for beginners! I did enjoy it though and I'd be happy to do another at least with some tweaks but damn. Took me over 20 hours and neither of my Ocarina randomizer playthroughs took that long...

It did help playing MM3D during days - gives me fresh memory on where to go and what to do.

Also I'm surprised how easy final boss is, even without mask.

You'd need to homebrew your 3DS and acquire American copy of Ocarina of Time 3D, since that's version they worked with.

Basically it works like patch for Ocarina of Time 3D US that you use the randomizer program to select settings then generate seed which in turn makes a patch file for it to be randomize.

You can also play it on emulator instead if you don't want to homebrew your 3DS

And after a bit of a break, that is Seed #3 done. Managed to skip out 3 locations entirely on the route to completion. Thoroughly enjoyed getting to revisit OoT, and this was a great way to tackle it.

Also, I don't get the comment Ganondorf makes at the piano, I haven't played all the Zeldas.

I'm on break as I finished like five 64 randomizers and 2 3D randomizers But yeah, randomizers are great.

I'd be up for one if GRCade wants to do new seed in future. I also did one where you took 4x damage and man it was so brutal.

Posting just to say I am watching a stream with a LTTP Randomizer called Multi worlds and the 3 people playing can get items from each others worlds, so it's interesting. Player 1 can get player 3's sword and gooseberry fool like that.

Sorry for the necrobump, but after much consternation and quite a few tries I’ve just managed to finish a basic ALTTP randomiser in under 2 hours(erm, an hour and 59 minutes to be exact…). Absolutely buzzing.

That first sub-2hr seed is something special.

Bet you can think of plenty of optimisations you missed though.

Cheers! It was a good one, but if I’d gone into green pendant turtle rock first instead of dicking about with other checks, it would have been 1:45. The flippers I needed were in (I think it’s called) Paradox Cave. The one half way through TR.

The logic clearly wanted me in there early doors - ice and fire rods were right at the start of the game and Cane of Somaria was in Sahasrala’s hut!

Yeah that's definitely the game telling you TR is in play.

Mimic Cave is the one halfway through TR. Paradox cave is bottom right area of Death Mountain in the Light World.

1:45ish is still the best I've ever managed and it's so easy to lose time with a bad choice.
