Not if you just run past them they dont. Came across a couple of them the other night, I just kept my sword sheathed and kept moving past them. They watched, a question mark appeared, started to fill with red and then drained and they just watched me when I didnt run at them.

Filling with red is them noticing you, sounds like they didn't attack because they couldn't actually see you.

No its cos I wasnt a threat, they were looking right at me as I ran past, they could definitely see me as they turned to follow me as I went by.

HO-LY strawberry float.

I think Nintendo modelled this special edition guide of the size of the map. It's strawberry floating huge!

Yeah, I've been attacked by Lynels while just going past. One even killed my horse as I was galloping by.

I'm pretty sure a white question mark means they are suspicious but haven't spotted you, so they aren't turning to follow you so much as turning to follow the thing they are suspicious of but haven't yet recognised as you.

Eventually Lynels will attack you, but sometimes they stare you down for a while before doing so.

Fair enough, apparently sometimes they do and sometimes they don't!

Beat the game this afternoon, only done 48 shrines but found all the memories and did all 4 divine beasts. Over 45 hours of playtime on the clock and very much enjoyed it. I know I missed/never did quite a bit of side stuff (Eventide Island, the building town bit) but I may return to these bits when the DLC comes out this year

A copy arrived in the post yesterday. It looks lovely but I've decided to send it back. I was hoping the £60 price was a placeholder but it wasn't. Plus it's absolutely huge. Way bigger than all the other collectors edition guides I have.

I've gone for the standard hardback one instead.

I beat Ganon yesterday and now I'm devastated that it's over .

91 shrines down and plenty of other stuff still to do. I just hope I don't lose interest now that the main story is done.

Easily the best game I've ever played. Smashes Ocarina (the second best game I've ever played) out of the park for me, even when you put everything into context.

Best water banana split. Turns out having a shield up and spamming the gooseberry fool out of hit with attacks in part is a good move then being far from him in part two. Also i didn't realise zl helps with aiming!
