Its been a while since I supported anything on Ideas, but I assume they still do the little survey about price and stuff. If a lot of poeple were only interested in this as a cheap model for their kids then that would have led them down this route. Which aint great but what you gonna do when poeple say they wont pay more.

I really want it but I don't have anywhere to put it.

One of the good things about it is that the Ghostbuster logos and the number plate don't appear to be stickers but the rust bits are so you don't have to put them on and ruin it.

Good catch. I also have nowhere to display it.

If only we could get a back to the future equivalent of this.

I'm sure a large-scale Delorean got through to the Ideas review stage a while back but didn't get approved, so maybe they already had a plan for a series of large-scale movie cars and the Ecto-1 is the first of many.

I'd be all over a big Delorean.

If there was one on the scale of the UCS falcon, I'd buy it in a second.

That Ecto-1 is lovely. I think I might have to find room for that. We already have to smaller one they brought out a few years back.

Ghostbusters 1&2 are usually on my list of Christmas films to watch (for no good reason in the case of the first film; probably just the sheer feels). I also bought the Transformer Ecto 1, Ectotron. Keeping that one in its box.

If that's a black friday freebie then it looks like I'm placing an order because that is lovely.

Seems like it's only going to be available on >£150 spend during VIP weekend (21/22nd November). Wish I'd waited on the Elf house as I'm going to need to find £150 worth instead of £70.

Ah, bugger, that's annoying. I should be able to get to £150... I'm considering getting the Mario Lego stuff for my son... would probably just need the Xmas reef to tip me over the threshold.

Assembly Square is £179.99 and supposedly retiring soon if you don't already have that.

I don't think I'm ready to go down the rabbit hole of modular buildings. I might get the kids the Attack on the Burrow Harry Potter set for Christmas so that's a decent chunk of the way there.

Looks like a really boring build. Reckon it's 4 pages of instructions with a X50 at the end.

Ok, this is still a little too much for me to spend on lego but there are some on here who might be tempted. The Technic Lamborghini Sián is £238.99 on Amazon, a saving of around 1/3.
