I can see the appeal in a painting-by-numbers sort of activity. 11,000 pieces is a bit much though!

I got one of those Star Wars busts for Christmas (TIE Fighter Pilot) and while a bit of a fun, almost verging on therapeutic experience I'm glad I haven't caught any kind of bug to get more "adult" sets.

Apparently the manual for the world map doesn't even include the instructions for the ocean design from that image above? It's only got like a colour-coded ocean depth pattern instead.

It looks nice but good god damn the art sets just seem so... boring.

Does it come with the frame to hang it on the wall though? I think the map of the world looks very nice to be honest, building it would be almost painstakingly boring after a short while though!

I think the idea is you have some creative freedom on the designs in the sea parts.

Going off the comments then I'm in the minority but I like maps and Lego so I'm very tempted by this. If they were to release a topographical (3D) pack of the land areas as well then I'd be all over it. #partoftheproblem

Just seen the Star Wars Sith ones in the same style, very tempted by that!

I built the ultimate Darth Vader (where you combine three different sets) one and it’s actually swish on the wall. Don’t think I’ll go down the same route for the Iron Man as it’s a very tedious build.

As for the Map, pointless for me. But I can see travellers will love it.
