Yeah I don't think I could sit on that much stuff waiting to be built!

My son is desperate for Ninjago City Gardens - he kept banging on about it all the way up to Christmas - I kept telling him to dream on, it's like £350!

It's a space issue, I don't have anywhere to put the completed sets right now. Though I am about to renovate my shed and remove two massive desks from it which take up like 12ft on one side. Aiming to put some shelves in there and a running machine so the completed Lego would fit on the shelves.

It's gone down to £264.99 on the Lego website. Think it used to be £274.99?

I wish the boxes for the sets were deeper instead of being shallow but have a large face. I get that it's for giving a nice large hero image of the product and they can fit more on the shelf, but they're a pain to store in those proportions.

I'm going to sell my Ulysses probe set on eBay, then dismantle all but my Saturn and shuttle, then store the rest for a bit. They take up a lot of room.

The unbuilt sets I currently have are

Ferrari 488 GTE
International Space Station
Space Shuttle
James Bond Aston Martin
And some assorted small sets like an Iron Man Brick Headz and some free Christmas sets.

Certainly not as bad but still :slol:

I'm going to be selling mine if you're interested. It's been built and displayed in a smoke free home. I also didn't use the stickers. I'll be de-constructing and bagging at some point this month. Will also have the Batwing in March.

How much would you be looking at for this? :shifty: I got the Batwing for christmas so now it looks a bit strange having the one but not the other :slol:

I've ended up dismantling a bundle of my sets to make room for new ones. I dread to think how many kits I've got bagged up at the moment that can't go anywhere! Took me a few weeks to clear enough space for the AT-AT to go, too. 2 boxes through it at the moment but I haven't done any for a while now.

I've still got the various old sets stored away that came from my charity shop find a few years back.

Yeah, they're a nightmare. I miss the old days when the box could also double as a tray since the big panel was the flap :( Then the dimensions of the box were vaguely justified. I tend to flatpack all the boxes to store in the loft (usually in a few bin bags for waterproof, just in case), and bag the sets up. I've got a bit of a lego room, so all the bagged up sets are all just stored in a pile of those Really Useful Boxes in the corner. Still takes up a fair chunk of room, but nowhere near as much as it would if they were all kept in their own boxes.

In other Lego news - my parents are looking to move out of our old childhood home so have been doing a bit of a clear out and dumped a bag of old bricks on me recently:

Finally got around to having a look through it and it's a massive nostalgia hit! Most of it is half demolished but even so I remember building some of these things 30 years ago!

Oooof. I'm pretty sure I've got that same digger half built somewhere too  The speedboat looks really familiar, too. Did they include it in Lego Island or something?

Wow. You can almost see the individual atoms in the carpet fibres.

Don't know why my phone has decided that "ultra portrait" is the aspect ratio of choice but there you go!

Can't remember where the speedboat is from, but I have really vivid memories of actually building it whilst on holiday one summer. Those were the days!

Ordered Lego Globe! :toot:

Lego World Map is going along nicely and I am taking my own time with it. The Lego pieces are tiny and a lot of different colours to sort out the design on each tile.

Getting towards the end of the third box of the AT-AT now! Just joined the two main chunks together, and it's SO heavy :slol: Some of the little easter eggs they put into these sets are great. I've just built the fuel tanks for the AT-AT, and inside the fuel tanks are a couple of barrels in the Octan colours  And now I've got the structure in to support the main panels, they'll never be seen again.

That set with the T-Rex and the jeeps is so nice.
