I may have gotten a bonus at work and I might have ordered the Disney Castle and the NES. Hard to say what really happened but time will tell.....

I had an e-mail that some of my VIP points were expiring, so when I went on the website it turned out I had enough for a £50 voucher.

So have ordered myself the Space Shuttle Discovery and International Space Station.
They'll go nicely with my Saturn V.

No, just the one that comes with the Saturn V and the Nanofigs.

Definitily the hardest build I've ever contended with!

Wasn't impressed with how some of the upper panels connected, and mounting it on it's stand without it breaking under it's own weight was an entire operation on it's own. Also not happy I had to remove a shelf just to fit it #Firstworldproblems

Really fun build overall, took about 4 months as had to contend with life/work/cats.

Little over priced like all Lego (even though the GF managed to get it for £500 via some black magic John Lewis Deal)

Only issue is...where do you go from here*...

*bar an additional Hue lamp

Bonus Fact - Buff bought me the Delorean

Oh, that does look ace, displayed with the other LEGO sets. Those upper panels are definitely awkward, especially the two that just rest of top of everything else (why?) with no other support.

You'll have to wait until the first of the reboot trilogy arrives on Disney+ for that.

Cheers, and Yes! I honestly thought I had built it wrong at one point with some of the top panels. I appreciate they want you to beable to easily remove the panels but some of the top panels feel incredibly shonky! My only other criticism is that it is incredibly fragile. I had a couple of peices pop off when I moved the set slightly and it flexed, and if you don't pick it up by ensuring to support it completly across the bottom it starts to bend and feels it could break at any moment. I had to actually google "How do I pickup Millenium Falcon Lego set", a particualy low point of my adult life! Appreciate that is partly down to it being so big and stressed under it's own weight but think they could have done a slightly better job at strenthening some of the structure.

I really liked that there was little Repetition. I hate sets that give you 20 pages of instructions and then at the end it says "X4" (Looking at you Avenger Hellicarrier engines). It's what has put me off the collosseum and London Bridge models.

The UCS Falcon really is amazing

My most recent set (can’t remember if I’ve posted about it already) was the Baby Yoda set that I was bought for my birthday last month, was a fairly easy build that took me a few hours with a few drinks in between a few of the stages :shifty:
