The fact that the Marv minifigure head is double printed with one side having the iron mark is fantastic.

I'm seriously still thinking about buying it and keeping it as a new Christmas decoration. I have very to little no interest in Lego but I adore Home Alone. It's so expensive so I'm really put off, but I keep thinking about it lol.

Do these kinds of sets stay available after initial release and do they ever drop in price?

It'll be available to buy for 2 years minimum following release. John Lewis occasionally has some good discounts.

There is a £40 off £200 Lego at the moment on John Lewis, if it's still there when this launches then that would be a good offer.

I'll keep an eye out then. If anyone sees any good discounts please @ me in this thread so I come check it out. Thanks both! :toot: :toot:

Estadio Santiago Bernabéu is rumoured to be the next Lego football stadium.

Alongside with Old Trafford and Nou Camp.

Those stadiums do look amazing but I have no affinity for soccer or the teams involved so it would be weird to have one of them on display. I cant see them ever doing an offical Thomond Park set but I can live in eternal hope!

The UCS AT-AT seems to have leaked, so there's pics of the box out in the wild now. 6,700 pieces and about $800, so I guess we'll be looking at another £650 Star Wars set? :dread: Might be one to watch for a sale on.

How big is that thing gonna be? That's a huge number of pieces. Wouldn't be surprised if it was as tall as a small rocking horse.

Due to the simple form, I don't think it's going to have the wow factor of the UCS falcon.

I thought it would be amazing but it’s just really a door and not a mansion at all and I wish they would name normal Lego scale Mario minifigures and sets like they have done with Disney

750 quid though. Eye watering.

I wonder how stable it will be? There'll be tears if that thing gets knocked over!

Disgusting prices for these sets. How much do you really think that costs to make? £40 tops.

£100 more than the UCS Falcon with 800 less pieces?

That is huge and overpriced. And for a large risk of it possibly falling over, as well.

Worth it if it falls on its front.
