Outstanidng! So many good memories there, I had a couple of those sets and my cousins had the red roof house, I remember being mad jelly.

I had the plane, the racing car and the helicopter. Was great to see them again
For some reason I have that green base with the driveway on from when we cleared dad's place, but I don't remember ever having that set. Must have been from something else.
I love how these old sets mostly just rely on standard parts to make something. Very little of it is unique to the set. I also love the little open backs they have with little hints to the interiors. Requires some imagination

Those old sets are proper funky. I've found a few similar instruction books when I've been going through a load of old boxes. We definitely had that little plane
Is the LEGOLAND branding on them like... the old name they used to use for Lego City, or were they all bought *from* Legoland at some point?
Also, how are people displaying all their lego at the moment? We've freed up a room in the house, so I'm looking to get some proper shelves to try and display some of the bigger sets, but every set of shelves I've found ends up being too shallow (30cm seems to be almost the standard from what I've seen). I'd love to get some with doors on, to try and keep the worst of the dust off the various sets, and that just seems to limit it even more...
I'm wondering if I'm going to have to get some industrial shelves and just paint/enhance them myself to get something close to what I'm after

Most of mine is just sat on shelves. I should really invest in a can or 2 of compressed air as it's getting dusty as strawberry float. The rest of it is kept in a big plastic storage crate.

Just finished the Gingerbread House, such a cool set with so many nice touches. Big thumbs up from me.

My girlfriend have got the new Batmobile for me, and teased me that I wouldn't get my hands on it until Christmas.
Can't wait.
Saw it in the lego store and it's huge. Much bigger than the Tumbler set.

12 sets, most of them complete, all but 1 with instructions, for £20. It's felt like Christmas day putting these together, I haven't spent serious time building sets like this since I was a kid
