I presume MegaBlox are handling the Xbox one equivalent.

kind of sickening when you think of that

And people say Warhammer is expensive. Over £200 for a pretend console and a pretend TV

At least Warhammer is an investment. I've got figures over 30 years old I still use on a regular basis (thanks to their metal construction) whereas my 30 year old lego sets are all in pieces in the kids lego boxes.

Picked up the Lego Architecture London set from Amazon France for about £28 including delivery. Seems like a really decent price.

tbf Lego is a decent investment if you buy/sell the right sets at the right time. The original UCS Falcon used to go for a couple of thousand pounds when it retailed for ~£450(?). I'm debating whether it's worth selling my Maersk train, as it seems to go for £250-£300 when I bought it for just over £80.

Also you should go salvage all the old sets from the boxes! Some of the classics from Lego's own labels are worth big money still, too! You might be sitting on a goldmine! ;)

Noice. I really like the Architecture sets. I've had to break up my Eiffel Tower and Big Ben sets to try and save some shelf space, but I'm still tempted by the skylines :slol:

Also, I got myself a new camera for my birthday so I was playing about with the timelapse mode a few days ago :shifty:

The natural light for the first part is so much nicer than the lighting when I'm putting the actual car together :dread: I don't think I'll ever be a YouTube superstar.

I found the London Architecture set in a charity shop boxed complete minus one piece for £2!

I've been out of work for a while and so have been selling some of my old childhood sets. Younger me was foolish in a few cases and chucked most of the boxes out, but the ones I've sold have made me a few hundred quid so far.

I've plenty more to sell so will get back into it soon.

I've got a bunch of modulars (used, but with all boxes/manuals) which I love and will keep at the moment, but if it came to it I could shift those to get out of a hole.

£320. And it seems like the sound comes out of the companion app rather than the original IDEAS proposal's complicated wire setup, which is kinda disappointing. For that price they could have at least kept to the original concept rather than just making a big piano model with an app that plays the noise for you.

That is really nice and the extra functionality looks really interesting. Not sure I could smuggle it into the house past the wife. Might have to be that or a PS5 for Christmas for me...

Grand Piano is out now. Do I get it y/n?

(I've got at least a £100 VIP voucher I can redeem against it :shifty: ). I'm torn between that and the Haunted House, though.

It might depend on your expectations.

It looks great, and the workings look intricate, but if I understand correctly you can't actually 'play' it - each piano key pressed just advances the tune you've selected in an app, rather than a note playing corresponding to the key. I think that's enough to put me off, sadly. Perhaps it was too much to expect it would be playable. :simper:

The worst part is that the original Ideas submission and all the reveal information described it as a "playable" piano :slol: And then the actual one we get is just "errr yeah the app plays a song for you but you can push random keys like a child if it makes you feel better"

I'm proper torn. Like, if a few months down the line someone creates a better version of the app that actually made it work like the Labo piano or whatever then I'd be kicking myself for not buying one before they sold out but at the moment I'm like "it looks pretty but that's about it"

Oooh, I didn't realise the Iron Man bust was out yet! There's loads of new releases that just pass me by. Missed the Crocodile locomotive a few months back, too :fp:
