I would have loved those as a kid. I had tmnt trainers that I wore to LEGOLAND in Denmark that were pretty similar.
That 80s batting set looks so good.

Saw those Lego trainers being shown off a few days ago and was instantly tempted by them, they are exactly the right kind of retro.
Batwing looks immense.

Cheers mate. Absolutely love it. All the winter village models have been good, but the Gingerbread House last year was a marked step up in quality and fun (IMO). This looks great too.

Agree on the Gingerbread House as that is such a nice build and this looks to be in the same style. Probably going to wait until there's either a good freebie or double points but then I'm all over this.

Depends on the freebie
Sometimes you can sell them for a decent amount. I'd probably go double VIP points, though.

Yeah, like Frank said, depends what the free gift is gonna be.
Did you see the Christmas Wreath? £30.99, which seems a reasonable price point. I quite like the look of it, will probably buy along with the Elf House.

The next couple of months have got Christmas and all 3 of my kids birthdays coming up and so I've just spent an inordinate amount of money on Lego as a result of this.
They better let me play with it as well that's all I can say!

I guess their concern was the number of pieces. It's unlikely to sell enough with a similar piece count and price as the Star Wars UCS or modular building sets... Plus kids can't afford those. (I don't mean the kids who get UCS Falcons, they can strawberry float off.)
