Thanks for the heads up, I've just ordered all three of them with the VIP rewards I picked up during Black Friday.

I ordered the Great Wave set yesterday. It was already on back-order on lego.com. Should arrive by 12/1 apparently.

Got the Optimus Prime set, and Darth Vader/Obi-Wan Brickheads for Christmas too!

Spent all morning dismantling my Medieval Blacksmiths so I can flog it on eBay. Fingers are bloody strawberry floated.

Is there some kind of guide price for old Lego sets or is it generally just what it goes for on eBay. If anybody on here wants it let me know as I'd rather sell without the fees or hassle.

Finished the lighthouse earlier and it goes so well in my office, which has a bunch of nautical things already such as my desk and Lego Ship in a Bottle.

Lovely build and finished article.

I know I asked this before when I was pondering getting one of the Lego Art Sith sets (which I didn’t get), but how is the process in hanging these sets? Just a normal picture hook or more heavy duty? Only way I’d be able to display this is to hang it (same with Starry Night)

The lighthouse is a lovely set, looks great where you’ve got it.

They come with little wall hanging bricks that you can basically just hang over a screw in the wall:

I've never tried them with any other wall hanging fixings tbf, but the screws always feel pretty secure (I've got the batwing, the world map and the four harry potter art crests on my wall at the moment). I'd just recommend making sure you get the screws into beams if it's an inside wall. I'm not sure I'd trust the weight of some of the combined art sets being held on standard plasterboard :slol:

They’d definitely be getting hung on an external wall  think I might get at least one of them in the near future, definitely want both Starry Night and Great Wave at some point though. I really hope this is a theme they keep going with the official artwork being turned into Lego.

The modular prices are really going up! :(

I'm just building the Boutique Hotel now, which is amazing - I think I paid £140 for it in a sale. To see the new ones launching for £200 is definitely beyond my budget to buy them.

I bought the Fire Brigade modular for £99 when it came out.

Yeh sad times. Truth is though they could probably charge twice the price and they’d sell.

I’m not sure if it effects Lego much but scalping has strawberry floated the pricing for so much stuff.

It feels like half of the reason they've hiked the prices is so they can slash them in sales and look like they're doing you a favour.

£100 off the Hulkbuster at the moment and it's still £200 too expensive.

Did not know this, guessing it’s to increase visibility on the near side? If it’s the near side mirror that’s bigger of course.
