If i was gonna make a lego video involving bloody murder this would definitely be a fantastic set to use for filming.

I wonder if theyll make traditional Lego style sets/diormamas or continue to do slightly weird and very wonderful things like they have done with the Super Mario stuff. The big sets, NES, ? Block and Mighty Bowser are 3 of my favourite sets ever and my kids love the interactive Super Mario sets so they really have done some great stuff with that IP so far. Something equally out of left field with the Zelda license would be very cool to see.

Just release a set like that Breath of the Wild stable someone designed. That was absolutely lovely.

To be honest I’d be all over proper Zelda sets, so many things they could do really well in Lego form. I don’t have anywhere to put them, but that wouldn’t stop me from getting them at all.

Would a Lego Zelda set have to be completed in one sitting without the ability to save your progress and take a break?

Only the Majora Mask edition which gets smashed to pieces if you don't complete it meaning you have to start from scratch next time.

The Rivendell rumour was true. £429!!!

There is no way on earth I could justify that.

Wonder how much of that piece count is within those roof tiles  Good grief. Looks nice, but I was expecting something a bit fancier looking. It doesn't look anywhere near as dramatic as the massive Hogwarts Castle did.

One for the sales when they inevitably slash £100 off it.

I thought it was a little underwhelming as well. I wonder if it's because they've gone for minifigure scale instead of the route they went with Hogwarts.

I think it's a bit too flat. Rivendell is all sheer cliffs and waterfalls and you don't get any of that from that set. The Hogwarts Castle set sits on top of the big cliff structure, that they add a couple of the additional scenes inside, so I wonder why they didn't do something like that with this one. They could have had a much more impressive looking bridge/waterfall section then.

It’s a decent looking set but not for me.

The Lego Table Football set is £128.99 on Lego.com at the moment, slightly tempted :shifty:

Bought The Starry Night to build (and hang) when I’ve got a few days off towards the end of next week, will build it while boring myself watching the F1 testing. Really want The Great Wave too, but haven’t seen that back in stock since it came out.

The Starry Night is going together really nicely so far, actually looks really quite impressive in person, next stage is building the frame. I did start to build the background last night, but gave up when I realised when its made up of 4 different shades of blue which are much easier to see under natural light.

Edit, just finished it, it’s a really nice set, just hope it doesn’t fall down when I’ve hung it up tomorrow

Ordered the Super Mario 64 Question Mark Block set, had a £50 Lego voucher to use plus they are doing double points on Lego Mario sets right now.

Now we wait for that Zelda set :shifty:

Does anyone have the Mighty Bowser set? If so can you please tell me what the dimensions of the base from the tip of his tail to the front of the base. Thanks.

I’ll have a look later, Bowser himself does seem to protrude from the front of the base as well so would a rough estimation of Bowser’s depth be more worthwhile?

The bit that protrudes over the front doesn't matter as it would be going on a shelf.
