I've always thought the prices of stuff from the Digital Designer is always slightly too expensive. You always design things that you think would be a £20 set IRL, and it ends up costing you £15 more or something Now I've got a bit of money I might try it, though. Really want a Lego Eurostar...

I have an idea. Why don't we track down the instructions for the Millenium Falcon and build it on the designer thingy and order the pieces from there? Or will it cost too much?

Just realised I've got the Lego Star Destroyer too, so I can dismantle that to get a load of grey bricks

I know it's a triple post and all, but looking at the parts list for the Millennium Falcon, it's impressive how few parts there are that've introduced especially for the set. I thought they'd do some crazy single brick thing for the cockpit, but it's just a load of those flagpole sticks joined together by the Lego Alien arms:

Yeah, I noticed they didn't use "glass" for the cockpit. IMHO the set's only flaw, but then the less special bricks they introduce in a set, the better, so it balances out. Oh, and also, it balances out because it's the mummy strawberry floating ultimate Star Wars toy.

Although those clips that are holding the cockpit's poles were introduced as the arms of the Episode 1 robots



At least that's the first time I remember seeing them.

Same for the dark gray "cannon" thing that's level with Han's head, pointing away from him. They were first used as blasters for the first Star Wars starships, like the X-Wing and Snowspeeder.

Anyone getting it? I'm tempted, but I've already spent 400 quid this month...

Im more tempted than I should be, I have nowhere to put it. Not that Ive ever let that stope me from buying stuff before.

Looking at that train box makes me want to build a whole Lego city to go with it. If I'm super rich one day, I'm going to get a house with a giant basement and fill half of it with Legos.
