I was planning to get the DB5 but I just don't think it looks all that great, looks ok and has some nice features (the useable gadgets) but the sides just look a bit off which sadly puts me off.

I take it now they've got the license we could see more Bond cars/sets in the future, a Lotus Esprit would probably be better as it has more straight lines on the car anyway rather than the DB5's more curvy exterior.

Yeah they've kind of created an impossible project although the Bugatti and Ferrari's aren't far off. Maybe Aston Martin insisted on some stuff. Maybe it couldn't be too real in case people settled on that instead of an actual DB5. Some people spend about as much money on these sets anyway.

It’s a great build and it is definitely look a lot better than what the photo first revealed. The gadgets are super cool to use. :D

That's quite a discount if you're into your cars!

Just tell her you've bought a Porsche.
Then when she's insanely angry that you've spent thousands without consulting her, reveal that it's actually just a Lego one that was only £130. She'll be so relieved that she won't kill you.

Is the front of that Porsche meant to look like it's had an accident?

Wouldn't be that great for displaying purposes unless you have a rotating mechanism at the base so you can see it from every single angle.

No different that the Death Star diorama or most of the buildings that have furnished rooms, you often have to choose which side to display unfortunately.
