Also 1st may will see 2x VIP points for all Star Wars sets.

Hmm I may end up ordering that R2-D2. :shifty:

Also Lego has delivered my Mando key ring. Without the Vader helmet set which isn’t out yet. I dunno why they can’t hold it until then.

Anyone else with the discovery shuttle got a random bit of the manual that's printed upside down? Pages147 to 170 are upside down and backto front on mine :?

They're correct and readable in order, just that chunk has been glued in on the right side rather than the left so it's upside down. Very strange.

Those pages are probably printed off in sheets in order and then glued together on a machine, maybe those fell out and were inserted manually upside down
or something  you could get a replacement, it's a very expensive set.

 My partner goes with "sorry I stopped listening" or "I don't want to think about x" right now.

Lately it's been VAT. I've posted at least 5 times about my VAT return and this isn't even something that interests me, it's just insufferably dull explaining things to yourself for hours every day.

Smyths (at least here in Ireland) are having a Lego promotion at the moment, theres over €100 off the Millenium Falcon. My wife has apparently got it for my birthday, Ive never wished time away so hard, its gonna be a long 10 weeks to wait but Im super hyped for it.

All out of stock for home delivery. Shame- they had the haunted house £30 off too.

Jen surprised me with the Falcon yesterday with the same deal. Like the Star Destroyer, It's going away until we have either a bigger house or the kids have all left.

Ive been trying to figure out where I can put the thing once its built and its not looking good. I may get one of those wall mounts for it to display it somewhere. Theres no way I could sit on it for very long, Id have to build it.

I'm probably about an hour away from finishing the shuttle now. Its a much bigger set than I was expecting, and I really don't have room for these so I need to either pack a few away, or put some shelves up.

Finished the discovery shuttle this morning, it was a mostly great build and really looks fantastic when paired up with the Hubble.

My full space set. I need a bigger space to display these and they're all shoved and bunched up on a shelf now, but I'm going to have the shuttle on my work desk as it looks so good.

Superb collection. It was a toss up between Discovery and R2D2 for me and I went with R2, I regret nothing cos hes a super little build. I will get the space shuttle at some stage though.

I used to think lego was about putting bricks together however you like, to make some kind of unique creation from your own imagination. But these sets seem to be more about precisely following instructions to build a predetermined thing. I actually prefer that, personally.
