You're right that wealthy people have the terrifying ability to make bad stories about themselves disappear, but that doesn't mean that she's doing it in this case in particular. It's not as if she just settled out of court - the case fell apart completely, the lawyer quit the case.

If she is actually a bigot, but doesn't go all Gina Carano / J.K. Rowling and can keep her bigotry to herself, then it doesn't matter all that much. If she's a bigot and makes the effort to end that bigotry in herself, then all the better.

If, however, it becomes a recurring issue, with more outbursts, more legal cases and more victims coming forward, well then, you'll be right, her future with Disney won't be very bright, and she'll be justly cancelled. There are other actors who can play the role of Ahsoka.

Myself, I don't believe Dawson to be a bigot - not right now at least.

Finally got around to finishing season 2 of this, if you shut off most of your critical faculties and ignore the myriad logical and narrative holes in pretty much every episode then it's a decent enough fairground ride of a show. (One episode had about 100 troopers appearing out of dropships which could fit maybe 15-20 at a push for example! )

Whichever banana split thought putting dubstep music over the final battle was a good idea needs firing immediately though. :dread:

Bo-Katan will return in Mandalorian S3, according to those who have seen the Mandalorian S3 sneak peak at SW Celebration.

I watched the trailer twice over and I was already having feelings.

• Din is still ruled by the religious trauma bequeathed unto him by the Armorer and the Children of the Watch. That was to be expected, considering how their last interaction, in BoBF, went, but I still feel some kind of way about it.

• Paz Viszla ruining Greef's good works on Nevarro has me fuming already. At least he's making it clear who Din's enemies really are. Can't wait for the penny to drop for him.

• Din speaking about Mandalorian cultural identity seems a bit jarringly sudden, considering his journey is only two seasons old at this point, and he hasn't even started to talk like a leader up to now. Hopefully, in the show, this will come late in the season, after speaking (and adventuring?) with Bo-Katan, and generally learning what leadership is about.

• Is Grogu finally going to be using his Force abilities without needing a long nap afterwards? Could we hear him speak soon? Maybe... maybe get a proper Beskar helmet for the little guy?

• The droid spa looks wonderful. Part of me wants it to be the Droid Gotra, in a fun synergy with Bad Batch (in which it is rumored to soon appear) and BoBF (via the Gotras of Tatooine), but it's probably either a droid spa, or the Anzellans' workshop.

• The ruins of Sundari, Mandalore's capital, are strawberry floating breathtaking. Truly astonishingly great CG work.

Can't wait to find out how Grogu's training with Luke goes after that S2 finale!

Funnily enough, there's no mention of that in the previously on.

A great episode to open up with. Can't wait to see how this continues.

I love that space pirates a long time ago in a galaxy far far away are still piratey enough to say "avast!".

Good opening episode.

I'm in trouble if they don't recap Boba Fett, my partner didn't watch it and has threatened not to keep watching this if they don't at least summarise the major plot points!

There were parts from Boba Fett seen in the previously on here, so when relevant, I suspect Grogu's choice will appear during one of the episodes.
