Yeah this weeks episode has been back to fantastic, in hindsight episode 2 makes a little more sense now I’ve watched 3 but still definitely on the filler side of things in my opinion. Can’t wait for episode 4 already as that could be something really, really good.

Need more.

DarkRula wrote:Oh, I loved that episode. If you loved the Mandalorian focused episodes of The Clone Wars and Rebels, no doubt you'll also love this episode. There's a lot of world building and lore drops, and answers the question we've been wondering since the beginning. Such a great episode that gives us an idea of just where this series is heading.

I'm going to need to make more of an effort with these series now, I haven't even got past the episodes with the big ion cannon :fp:

One of my favourite early arcs, and one that holds a special memory for me, as I'd first seen an episode or two of it while on holiday in America. The other episode I'd seen over there was Padmé and Jar Jar on Rodia, which I also include in that special memory. What makes it even more great for me is that it had been less than a year since I'd been introduced to Star Wars, and seeing those episodes boosted my interest further than it already had been.

Yeah, that one. It's enjoyable enough, I just don't really have time to watch it.

Individual episodes aren't all that long, but I feel you, the sum total of viewing time for the show is significant.

Fantastic episode - gorgeous cinematography, great action sequences, at last a live action Gozanti transport, Katee Sackoff as Bo Katan is perfect casting, the Child remains cute as a button, and just a sprinkling of quality lore building.

Of all the mid-season side quest episodes, this is the best so far. The trend of Star Wars shows being alright in the first season and finding their feet to really take off in the second is holding true once again.

Next episode speculation, contains present episode spoilers:

Anyone else expecting the next episode to be for Ewoks and Wookiees what this episode was for Mon Calamari and Quarren? Ahsoka is living on a forest moon at this time, after all.

What are the chances he doesn't actually make it to that planet in the next episode? Just to really wind people up.

I really hope your spoiler comes true, would be great, Ashoka could also be with Rex on said planet?.

Person who plays Bo Katan is the one who voiced her as well in The Clone Wars/Rebels, knew they sounded alike when I was watching it but was expecting a good impersonation rather than the same actress at first.

It was a great episode. The only disappointment, when Mando says 'yeah, I know you're hungry' what he should have said is 'You should feel bad, you ate their children'

Otherwise, perfect.

Yeah, I don't think we'll be getting Ahsoka in the very next episode. Filoni's directing the episode after that one, so you can be sure the appearance will be there.

That episode didn't do much to dissuade me from the feeling this is basically a video game.

Still good though.

I'm playing Red Dead 2 atm and this is a very good accompaniment.

It was so abrupt. I felt like if I blink once, I’ll miss the entire episode.

Interesting to see that the helmet thing is just a part of a “cult” rules.

I’ll bet that Ashako wouldn’t be in the next episode.

And once we see her in further episode she’ll say she’s no Jedi. Not that I blame her the way Jedi treated her.

I think she'll at least be interested in protecting the child. After all, it seems she still respects the Jedi legacy even if she distrusted the council.
