They need to make Bounty Hunter into a proper series, with entries having you play as (or interact with) Jango and Boba Fett, Cad Bane, Embo, Bossk, IG-88, Dengar, Aurra Sing, the Mandalorian, etc.

There's a world of potential and fantastic characters to develop there.

Loved being able to fly with the jetpack for 0.025 seconds in that game.

More casting news, to round out the two previous announcements.

Katee Sackhoff is reprising her role as Bo-Katan Kryze.

Who?

The actor or the character?

I'll assume you mean the character.

Bo-Katan Kryze was a human female who was the leader of the Nite Owls and a lieutenant in Death Watch, a Mandalorian terrorist group, and later during the Imperial Era, became Mand'alor.

You can go ahead and click the spoiler boxes if you need a rundown of their life so far. They're likely to be quite significant to the plot.

Feel free to watch Clone Wars and Rebels in the meantime, though. They're exceptionally good - even Rebels, which I've just finished the first season of.

Totally forgotten what happened to her in Rebels, so hopefully they add a bit of background when they turn up again :slol: Would rather they didn't do a Saw in Rogue One and just have him turn up, be a dickhead for a bit and then vanish with no real explanation why he was there or what he was doing :shifty:

Mandalorians in the Mandalorian show at least makes a little more sense.

Saw's presence in Rogue One, if you need more details, is fleshed out in the novels that delve into the backstory of R1 - Catalyst and Rebel Rising. :shifty:

I have never watched any of the animated series. Is this definitely the order I should watch them in, or should I just go season by season? I am a minute into S2E16 and it doesn't seem like a good jumping in point

Going to watch an episode of X-Men tonight instead...

That's the episodes in chronological order, but I think watching them in the actual season order is probably a better idea. There's only a few that are out of sequence, anyway (like season 3 starts with an episodes that's basically the one clone team still at... clone school, or whatever you'd call it). There might be a viewing guide that highlights the best arcs, if you fancied skipping through and getting the best bits of all seven seasons.

Here you go, this is like a "these are the best bits to watch" guide. I think it makes more sense to start with the Clone Wars film as it introduces Ahsoka and the clone bois.

It's chronologically a prequel to the movie that "started" the series, so yes, that's exactly where you need to start.

Admiral Trench is a first class villain, too. Criminally underused, I might add.

Thanks for all the tips. Even though it was completely alien to me the minute or so I saw looked good, so I'm looking forward to trying it...

I was skeptical going in, but after a short time, I didn't want it to ever end.

So naturally the rumours going around now of an Imperial era animated show with the same visual style are very exciting to me. Rebels is good a lot of the time, but visually it's clearly the Duplo to Clone Wars' Lego.

Finally watched this and surprised at how bad it was. Episode 6 was one of the worst episodes of anything I've seen for a very long time.

What an awful letdown.

I agree. To quote a review from Indiewire, it's a "$100m show about nothing". To be honest I'm quite disappointed with Disney's lack of imagination and mishandling of Star Wars in general (Palpatine's back! And Darth Maul! And Boba! And we made Stormtroopers with new colours!) but the positive press convinced me to give it a go. I'm fully checked out with Star Wars at this point tbh and this was the tipping point.

To some of the people I've seen online who are head over heels with this show, is it the show or just the fan service? Because strip away SW and the budget and this is Hercules/Xena Warrior Princess all over again - a fine but rudimentary Saturday morning hero show with zero stakes, cheesy lines and barely anything resembling an overarching arc.
