Oh, that was just brilliant. The third season should hopefully deliver on a lot more Mandalorian.

That was absolutely awesome. It feels like they will have to take the sequel films out of Canon sooner rather than later. Those films whilst being gooseberry fool, have also boxed them into crap story arcs in some respects. Plus the major plot point of the films no longer seems to make any sense with this continuity.

This had everything I've wanted from an actual sequel.

Surely they can involve the sequels somehow? Seems like Gideon’s plan is to help revive/clone the emperor somehow, using the child’s blood and the clone expect to help? Likewise with Grogu being taken away, if they have a time jump of a few more years, the Mandalorian could be contacted to come and take him again when Luke’s new Jedi temple goes down the drain courtesy of Ben Solo? Suppose it depends how many series they want though to how far they take things.

I just don't see the point though. Generally the sequels have been so poorly recieved there doesn't seem to be much money left in that arc. It would be best to switch them to Legends and open up a clean slate again.

They could fudge all this into the same continuity, but it will still run into huge problems and basically have a great big roadblock as they try to move the franchise forward. Better to act now, and leave any future series with a blank page to work on. Otherwise there will always be the question of "how does all this fit into episode 7, 8, 9".

I was just thinking how they could if they wanted to try and bridge the gap between the two, as you said though, if they want to cut as many ties with them as possible then it’d be better to do it sooner rather than later.

For those who usually don't check, there's a post-credit scene :)

That one episode was the best Star Wars anything since RotJ.

I said that to my brother this morning. It was like the perfect sequel to ROTJ. This whole series feels like it has really tied up some of the biggest unanswered questions.

Holy strawberry floating gooseberry fool balls. My bollocks are empty

Is that it now for The Mandalorian? Felt like a final end to his arc.

I could see it maybe following Boba & Fennec for the next season, with Grogu going to train and Din going with Bo, perhaps with them both returning the season after. I'm not sure if Boba has his own show or if he carries on as 'The Mandalorian'.
I can't see it being the end for Din and Grogu because let's face it, Grogu sells merch like hotcakes

Why did no-one try to use the Darksaber against the dark troopers :shifty:

The post-credits said the Boba Fett show is December 2021, so does that mean Mando S3 isn't coming for a while, or is Boba Fett becoming Mando S3?

He's now the ruler of Mandalore, they are going to have a season of retaking the planet.

When I saw the solo X Wing, I instantly knew who it was. That was a very good deepfake of Mark Hamill, much better than Peter Cullen’s Tarkin in Rogue One.

It does look like the last episode of The Mandalorian as Disney never confirmed the third season yet. The Book of Boba Fett doesn’t appear until December so there’s a possibility.

Excellent. Just excellent. Didn't want to believe it was Luke but when the green sabre turned up... shivers.

What a way to end the series.

Fingers crossed next series is the retaking of Mandalore with Thrawn as the villain.

And it was pretty clear they were cloning the Emperor/Snoke with Grogu's blood right?
