I'm really interested in how you're doing it. What hardware are you using the app on, do you have a VPN and do you require a US payment card to register?

I've been using it on my PC via browser and on my Xbox One X.

It was a bit of a piss about to set up.

Used NordVPN to connect to the USA and then created a US PayPal account. This needs a US address (I just used the address of Google HQ) and a US phone number (I had a throwaway mobile SIM card from the USA but the number can be any as I never actually needed to be contacted on it).
The hard part was adding a payment method to PayPal, as it will only accept a US billing address. I was able to use a UK Revolut debit card which was rejected with billing address errors 3 or 4 times, then suddenly just worked with a billing address of Google HQ.
My 7 day free trial ran out yesterday and PayPal successfully charged my Revolut card £5.63 to continue my subscription.

After that I used Getflix DNS to actually access the Disney+ website and create an account using PayPal as the payment method.

For Xbox I just changed my store region to USA, downloaded the app, changed back to UK and since my Xbox uses Getflix as it's DNS servers the app works fine and I get 4K HDR streams.

I just got an Amazon Fire 4K TV stick and plan to try side loading the Disney+ app onto it later tonight as I've got the Android APK.
Have tried on my phone though it doesn't work via either NordVPN or Getflix VPN, but I didn't really try it much there yet.

The Disney+ website/apps are a bit bobbins at the moment mind.
There's no "Continue watching" section like Netflix has, so if you were in the middle of a film/episode you have to manually find it again. It'll resume at the part you left off it's just getting there that's the problem. Apparently something like this was in the Beta but was then removed as being buggy, so should hopefully return.

My other issue is browsing big series. Take The Simpsons for example. If I watch an episode from say, Season 29, then exit from the episode, the browser jumps all the way back to Season 1 and if I wanted to just watch a different episode in Season 29, I have to scroll all the way back down again.

Got the app working on my Fire Stick but, again, bit of a piss around.

Side loaded the app fine but when trying to launch it I got a message saying I didn't own the app and then that I wasn't entitled to it. Basically because Amazon themselves provide the app through their app store if it isn't registered against your account, even if a free app, it won't launch. Probably a security measure against sideloading paid apps.

The way around it was to login to Amazon UK, go to manage content and devices, then change my Kindle region to USA. After that I could login to Amazon.com with my UK account, 'buy' the app and tell the website to auto download onto my stick. After that I switched my Amazon content back to UK.

After that was able to use the app just fine on my Fire Stick with it pointing to Getflix DNS.
Also got it working on my phone via 4G by using Getflix DNS over VPN.

Great info, cheers. I was looking into it but it does sound like a lot of hoops for a service where the UI isn't even complete. Helpful to know how to create US payment card. Recently I wanted to see what the US Netflix and Amazon stores had so I did the free trial for Unblock.us and a couple of others on my Mac mini and connected it to my 4K TV but I was only able to get 1080p output, no HDR and occasional stuttering. If you had NordVPN why did you need Getflix? I'm looking for a VPN solution that allows region changing on my TV and console apps.

Well NordVPN doesn't have an app on Xbox I think. Getflix is like UnblockUS in that you just put in the DNS servers. Getflix also works with Netflix to get the US content and I use it for accessing Funimation.
Connecting to a USA server on NordVPN is also a much bigger speed hit than just using a Smart DNS.

Using Getflix I do seem to be getting HDR streams of The Mandalorian on my Xbox.

strawberry float this. I'm completely dismissive of the nonsense reasons people have for pirating things ( just say you don't like paying for things) but in this instance you're justified in browsing on the seven seas.

Oh I can't blame anyone for taking that method in this case. Disney royally strawberry floated up with this and should not be remotely surprised at the levels of piracy when it comes to The Mandalorian, they've nobody to blame but themselves. It was never going to happen that in the age of the modern internet the majority of their target audience were going to wait an additional 4-5 months to see it.

I just thought I'd at least try, though ironically Disney would probably see someone like me going around their region blockers to be just as bad as someone outright pirating it

I doubt you're alone, but it seemed pretty obvious to me - the gigantic golden Imperial medallion didn't give it away to you? :slol: Only an Imperial of high rank and greater arrogance would wear that at this time. I half expect Herzog to be a Moff or something like that.

Are you all watching a different show or something? Episode 3 was poor, certainly the worst episode so far.

The events lack any proper dramatic drive or pacing and at times simple logical cohesion is just abandoned.

I just collected the most valuable creature in the parsec, better just walk slowly through the open and let him bob along beside me where anyone could kill/steal baby yoda! Why the strawberry float weren't all the other bleepers going crazy at this point to capture the little guy back? This is supposed to be the underbelly of the galaxy those strawberry floaters should be ripping Mando to shreds to get that thing. Completely undercuts the ending when it suddenly becomes important for them to try and get him again. :fp:

"These weapons are hard to come by, use them wisely" awesome, must be setting the groundwork for some significant event and payoff down the line.... lolwut! Nope imma gonna use them 5 minutes later when I walk into the middle of an obvious ambush PMSL!!!

The whole climax of this episode was just cringingly bad in how it plays out. Like Lucas at his worst levels of distressing. There's no need for Mando to just walk back through town like this (again!) - run, hides, take a strawberry floating back street or something for strawberry float sake - was he worried the fallen empire were going to give him a strawberry floating parking ticket if he didn't put his ship in the designated docking area or some gooseberry fool!

Then the actual standoff is just bullshit. Mando is just stupid levels of overpowered - one shotting everyone blind whilst they all continually miss a target that is 5m away and right in front of them, it's just entirely unbelievable. And then to top it all off the horrific CGI and direction when the other Mandolorians decide to show up... :dread: worst action sequence in Star Wars since the droid vs clone battle at the end of AoTC. Bobba fett wannabes bouncing around the shot like badly animated NPC characters from a cheap computer game. And the strawberry floating cheese level when one of them strawberry floating boosts up to Mandos ship and strawberry floating salutes at him.... Ugh pass me the strawberry floating bucket.
