This is very, very slow. And quite boring. The last two episodes have been real duds.

I just think you struggle when you can't see the face of your leading character - he just comes across as bland and robotic. The episodes have dragged too. Want them to hurry up a bit with the plot.

Surely the person at the end has to beBoba. The setting of the episode kind of leads to the perfect opportunity to do it. Also the sound of the spurs suggests a bounty hunter. We've been conditioned to think that as its the same as when Mando walks.

But yeah, another dull episode in my opinion which only really got by on the nostalgia and the opening space sequence.

I really enjoyed that episode, I enjoyed the last one as well.

I'm glad you're enjoying it! For me it's like a sort of throwback to late 90s/early 2000s procedurals with its monster of the week format and half hour runtime. It makes little use of the short runtime for story though, and instead concentrates on weird little sidequests.

Fingers crossed it gets better.

I mostly agree with Taf. If you're going to have a (virtually) weekly show with only half an hour runtime, then you need to make with the plot.

Thought this was interesting, how Pedro Pascal wasn't even in episode 4.

Like they say in the article it isn't really anything new and doesn't matter but maybe credits should be done differently.

Latest trailer shows a lot. A lot of a meeting between two characters. Really surprised they decided to spoil so much. Also the leaks are out in force.

Two episodes in and this is the most expensive, most boring show I've ever seen.

Lost had interesting characters and despite its faults was definitely not boring.

If the next episode is Wednesday will the finale be that Friday, or the week after?

Need to catch up with this, but part of me can't really be arsed and would rather carry on with a re-watch of the wonky as anything Season 1 of Star Trek: TNG :lol:

Episode started off dull and got much better by the end. Wish we had slightly more of the X Wings though.

Another ok episode. The half-hour monster of the week format means that nothing sticks though. Characters come and go and the Mando himself isn't enough of one to carry a series. It's just a bunch of things happening in Star Wars style.
