After a fantastic chapter 9, I’m not really sure what to make of chapter 10.

I keep watching it but I don't know if I want a Star Wars Littlest Hobo.

I think when viewed together with Chapter 11, it'll work better. As it is, it's a relatively slow-burn portion of the entire story that could have been reduced further and attached elsewhere, or just skipped over entirely. It still provided some great entertainment with the spider battle, the flying through the canyon, and the starting scuffle.

That was a definition of a very filler episode.

The Child is evil. I’m telling you. Evil.

It'll be a Sith Lord in thirty years time, taking over from the reincarnated Emperor, yet still look as cute as it presently does. Despite all the bad deeds it does, including blowing up a planet with the power of the Force, no-one wants to kill it because it's too cute. Only when it reaches 130 years old does it lose everything it worked for, when its second-in-command literally stabs it in the back because in Yoda-years, it's no longer considered a kid any more.

Eating those eggs was strawberry floating hilarious. You knew the little bastard was eyeing them up right from the start.

Based on her reaction to that little bastard eyeing up her clutch at the end, I'd say she was at least getting bad vibes from the child. :slol:

Good episode this week - great humor and the return of Richard Ayoade and Dave Filoni was unexpected and pretty great.

Yeah, maybe it was a bit fillery, but it was also very much on brand - every Star Wars show has episodes like this, and in fact there are scenes reminiscent of this (to varying degrees) in several of the films.

Loved the Alien vibe right before the spider attack.

No episodes are filler episodes given the style of the show, it's meant to be a monster of the week with a loose overarching plot. It's essentially a western following a lone ranger as he fixes towns problems on his way to wherever.

Just caught up on the Mandalorian I really liked those first two episodes, I think it's probably the best thing that star wars produced.

I don't think Baby Yoda is evil I just think they were trying to do some little hatred comedy stuff but it came across as creppy.

This show is slowly turning into We Need To Talk About Baby Yoda.

I really enjoyed that second episode. It's the little things I like that continue to build the universe post Endor. It does have the unusual effect of really making the most recent films look even worse though.

I do wonder if there is some scope to bring in Luke for a decent goodbye at some point. It seems to be loosely mentioning the Jedi and I wonder if that's a little plot point they will try and resolve at some point.

So you're saying Luke's a serial killer.

I like the 'its Yoda if he hadnt come to the attention of the Jedi' vibe.
The egg bit was ace. Little bugger.
