I use how long to beat a lot of the time for games I’m on the fence about, really useful after the games been out for a few days.

I'm always wary of HLTB when it's particularly close to a game launch, as their numbers are sometimes a way off initially, although it's much more of a problem for bigger games I suppose, so this isn't likely to be an issue. I'm always dubious when you check a game like an RPG in release week and there are people who've already reported it as taking 150+ hrs to complete, or you only have times reported by people who deliberately ripped through as fast as possible, making games look shorter than under normal play.

Ran fine at 1440/60 on Ultra w/ RTX on my rig, which I think counts as high end (5600x/3080)

Yes it is.

I’ve just started it tonight. 1440p and solid at 60ish (40-60). It bounces around but barely noticeable given pacing (Incredibly slow). All on ultra or high although the DLSS is set to balanced and can’t be changed. Weird.

Edit - AA was set to TXAA, not DLSS and then it allows you to pick DLSS quality.

Only a 3070 here. I use afterburner to keep an eye on temps and framerate. It seems to only to use a few cores to maximum. How many CPU cores do the new console have?

Just watched the video. So Taf and my 1440p is probably 720p (with DLSS on), which is why the framerates are higher.

As for consoles doing ok. I think the video answers that. There is some 'optimisation' to reduce the quality of RT. It looks pretty good. Shame so far the game is a little boring.

I've noped out of a few parts of this tbh, I'll get back and finish it as I do with all horror games, it does look gorgeous at times though.

The finding of the valve wheel in the pumping station is the most pointless thing ever.

Goddamn it, I missed ONE collectible in the entire game.

One of Thomas’s notes. So annoying, but I guess I can whizz through it again pretty quickly and use a guide to make sure I don’t miss any. At least I got everything else.

Took me just over 9 hrs and that was walking everywhere (so I thought!) looking for collectibles. Still missed a couple though.

It can be done in 6hrs I believe

As an Xbox owner, that seems like a fair trade. Hopefully Oddworld will also come to Game Pass.
