Fed up talking videogames? Why?

Frame your neighbours for murder to get rid of them

I have a combination of white noise machines and earplugs, but nothing compares to this. Link it up to a ten-hour white noise video off YouTube or similar and I actually get a decent night's sleep. I can't wear them every night, but the nights I can are great.

I need to get me some of these!

I usually listen to rain/thunderstorm loops at night through normal headphones and it's never quite comfortable enough for me, this could be the solution!

How can you wear headphones all night!? I'm jealous. These are definitely better than that!

They're fairly discreet in-ear ones to be fair, I'm not lying there with a massive set of cans on my head!

But still this thing looks much better!

Well yep I presumed earbuds. Even then, though, it sounds like the moment you roll over on your side you get them digging into your inner ear something rotten.

Still no sign of him lately, the camper van hasn't shown up this summer either for some reason.

Mine have just arrived now and first impressions are they're a bit gooseberry fool. Better than regular headphones, sure, but the padding isn't good enough, you can still feel the speakers pressing against you. I tried it with some white noise vid off youtube so Idk how effective it is, but I could still hear my neighbour's dog barking. So I turned it up till I couldn't hear it, but then the audio was way too strawberry floating loud so seems like what's the point. And when it's that loud my gf can hear it, so if it keeps her up then I'm really strawberry floated. I'll give it a proper go tonight, hopefully it'll work when I'm more tired.

That sounds unfortunate, I might still look into a pair but don't think I'll be in a rush to

What about tiny in ear things like TV presenters use? Is that a thing?

Is a good sized fan not enough? I have one on all through the year now when I go to bed to drown out the crazy slurring drunk woman next door. Works a treat. Possibly not enough for noises not travelling through a wall.

White noise generators are great for low frequency stuff, but a big ass fan does the same thing and keeps you cool.

All that money, and “this item does not collect the debris, but rather pushes it into one place”.

Also, it’s four-stroke. If you could find a two-stroke version, they’re much noisier.

My Powerbrush is used to sweep a long drive of block paving. It does sweep moss off the block paving but does not sweep all the moss in between the blocks

  What kind of person hates moss so much they spend over 2k on one of these to remove it.

Like moss is the most inert and harmless organism I can possibly imagine. I love moss.

I sometimes refer to such people as "beige" or "grey", simply unfathomably dull individuals.

Finally found out who stole our recycling bin.

It was our next door neighbour :simper:

Walked up past their house on my way back this morning, see FOUR black bins, one of which has a net hanging off it. What kind of person has one of those nets but can't be arsed to use it? A thief that's who. I walked slowly past, and sure enough it's cable tied on with the same ties I used, and our house number is clearly visible on the side from the discoloration of the stick on letters I put on there. So not only did they take it, they knew because they went to the effort of peeling the letters off rather than just wall next door and return it.

banana splits.

Are you stealing it back?

Ironically for thieves, they have put up security cameras all over the outside of the house, so if I just go and take it then I look no better than them if they were to show that to someone. I'll be having a word next time I see either of them and calmly pointing out I know what they've done, and that all they had to do was return it, which would have taken considerably less time then getting those numbers off.

On the day it went missing, all of their bins had been taken in ( looked up and down the road) so they knew full well what they did. I'll also no longer be taking and packages for them so they can go strawberry float off if they need anything delivered from now on.

But then they wouldn't have an extra bin.
