I've been saying this for ages now  we need photo proof that vermy isn't stool bloke, otherwise this theory will never come off the table. His reflection in the window of a photo of stooly would do!

Hopefully stool bloke didn't ditch any of his other precious items, I don't think I could cope with the coming winter months if this guy doesn't show up:

I would humbly accept this title.

Close enough.

...and i love it. :D

I've now decided that when i am able to get the equipment, i'm going to give the gnome a fresh coat of paint as it's looking pretty weathered in places.

I didn't see the wooden reindeer get the boot, so hopefully he is still safely tucked up in Stool Bloke's garage.

Just looked up from my music to find my garden strewn with conifer branches. One of the neighbours has only gone and took it upon themselves to cut off the tops of our strawberry floating conifers.

We were going to get them done soon anyway. We get them done every year but we were a bit delayed because of a strawberry floating pandemic.

My wife went into the garden and expressed our irritation to them and luckily it all seemed to remain amicable but it's still really pissed me off.

If they'd have asked if they could trim them I'd have just said yes and there wouldn't have been a problem but it's the fact they never even bothered to check that it was alright to do. And of course, we back onto two gardens so now we have lopsided trees as they could only reach the ones on their side. Idiots!

Are the parts of the tree they are cutting in your garden or does it hang over into theirs?

By rights neighbours are allowed to chop down anything that crosses the boundary into their property (as long as they return the cuttings to the owner), but if they are reaching over and cutting parts that are wholly within your own property then that's definitely not on!

They're in our garden and he's reaching over. Otherwise I wouldn't have given two gooseberry fools. Oh well, I guess I'll have to book a man in to even them out soon.

Yeah that's just a dick move then!

They could have at least tried to talk to you about it first! I get that these situations can come up - we had something like this with one of our neighbours where their trees blocked basically all the light into our garden but we were able to chat to them about it and come to an agreement on things, we didn't just start chopping down their bloody trees!
