It was a rush job, but I quite like the idea that stool bloke is such a massive presence!

Nobody who actually went to Glastonbury saw something as good as those of us who stayed at home and followed it on GRcade.

Slipping into Jawa mode, one of our neighbours was blasting out music last night. :x I couldn’t work out which neighbour it was as it sounded like it was coming from next door and upstairs at the same time. It went on until around 2am. :x

It was mostly dance/hip hop music and then suddenly they started playing Nickleback. strawberry floating bastard Nickleback was the last straw. :x :x

And as my wife was away last night, I couldn’t even send her to ask them to stop.

Make the trip yourself?

My recent personal irritant is people outside yelling into their ‘phones at 4am. Sound carries remarkably well up to the 11th floor through windows that have to be open because of the heat/humidity. It’s 4am, why would you not use your indoor voice?

Mind you, I’m one to talk; I accidentally locked The Lady out of my flat the other night and she woke the neighbours up banging on the door. :( (I was asleep and had put the latch on by accident/habit.)

The “send the wife to deal with it” is a forum meme.

Although that part was also true as my wife was away last night. If I find out she was partying with the neighbours then this is how I’ll remind her of what I really am.

Should've got your Landlord to deal with it.

The wife thing was me being a little bitch and sending my wife to sort my neighbourly issues out because I'm too scared to do it myself.

The landlord thing is also me, being a banana split as usual.

LOOK AT THIS PHOTOGRAPH.

I was about to moan about the family below me (who use their tumble dryer 10 hours a day  ) slamming doors last night for around an hour, but i'd rather than than Nickelback.

I am banned from going to my neighbours door by my girlfriend in case i get my head kicked in.

I am not banned from doing it but my wife did get pissy once when I went to tell some neighbours to turn the noise down and demanded that she do it instead. She thinks I would be too sweary. strawberry float knows where she got that strawberry floating idea from. ;)

She probably remembers your behaviour at the Bristol meet.

Stool Bloke may not be doing his thing anymore, but there's still plenty of obnoxious wankiness going on up my street.

The screaming brats have now been given BB guns, which means the endless screaming is now accompanied by 'pop pop pop poppidy pop pop pop', and the ground is covered in hundreds of tiny yellow plastic pellets (which i'm sure will do great things for the environment when the next bout of rain sends them down the drains and into the water system).

With any luck, someone will lose an eye or something, though even that won't stop the endless shouting and screeching.

Funnily enough, some houses in the street seem to be off limits for them, they never squawk under No.4's window or raise merry hell on their lawn, yet my front drive is always fair game.

Broom her. :x

We used to have some young blokes upstairs, they were really nice but they liked to party on the weekends. They’d come back sometimes and blast music out. According to the wife I shouldn’t have complained as “they are young and it is Saturday night”. No it strawberry floating wasn’t, it was 3am on Sunday. :x

As I wasn’t allowed to go up and complain, I ended up sneakily getting one of their mobile numbers and would then text them to turn it down. They always would, but it confused me why they couldn’t get into their heads that other people didn’t want to be awake at 3am listening to shitty dance music.
