Most windows are pretty easy to lock shut from the outside with some string to be fair

strawberry floating bonfires! I hate strawberry floating bonfires!

Sat here at the PC this morning with the window open because it's hot and stuffy, only to get the room filled with strawberry floating bonfire smoke!

Looked out of the window and i can't even see where it's coming from!

Last week was pretty darn hot so we left the kitchen door open to let some cool air in, my mum went into the kitchen as the outside light was on. She went and look to see what was going on and there was a bloody rat in the garden, we shut the door and it did go away.
We spoke to some of the neighbours and they're keeping an eye out for them, and the Costa Woman said she has them all the time, it isn't no wonder as she has loads of rubbish all over the place. She even told us one of her cats brought a half eaten rat into her kitchen and sat on the units eating it.

She's been telling the neighbours that she too depressed to clear the rubbish so she lets it pile up til people report her as the council clears it all up for free. So do we report it to the council as while it does help with the rat issues, but it doesn't teach her a lesson.

Anyway last night was pretty hot too so I had to get up about 2am, I was down stairs and I heard some noises outside so me and my dad went out and had a look to see what was going on. It was Costa Woman's 5 year old kid running about, messing about with peoples cars. We went to her house and told her and she said she's not that bothered about it. She class it as him "Going on an Adventure", we said what about if he gets lost, she said she had something on his phone to track him. From what I gather he's been having these adventures for the past 2-3 years, bloody mad.

New bloke has moved in to one of the apartments rooms next door. He's a Howard Hughes type, were Howard Hughes about 25 at the time and an aspiring rapper. He never goes out, just sits in a room that can be no more than 100 square feet, listening to incessant rap music and 'singing' his own, before you'll then hear it about 10 minutes later autotuned to buggery because HE CAN'T strawberry floating SING. It's all hoes, bitches, sluts, skanks, n***as, whores, wet ass pussy...you can blow these bitches, rape these bitches, decapitate these bitches, overdose these bitches....BITCHES! I think it probably makes Cardi B look like the ultimate lyricist in comparison. I don't have a clue how the other people in the house put up with it. Perhaps unsurprisingly no actual women currently live there, the prior Italian having left.

What he does to pay the £650 a month rent I don't know, but when I'm in the garden I've resorted to using [BLATANT PAID ADVERT] Sony's 1000XM4 noise cancelling headphones, which are superb. Can't hear a thing, apart from the blissful bird sound I'm pumping into my ears.

This bloke has replaced the singing over-the-top American who had a DISGUSTING affinity for musicals from last year.

No way is he selling that much of his autotuned rubbish online to cover it. He’s been ‘working’ on the same 20 seconds of his latest masterpiece for what feels like the whole of May.

He also spends most of his day seemingly sitting in a room with atmospheric mood lighting (mainly purple, orange or green). At least he has the window open…24/7, even in winter it was wide open.

He never has the TV on, he never ventures into the garden, I never glimpse him in the kitchen with the other residents cooking anything, and he apparently doesn’t engage with them either.

It's impossible not to, he's unfortunately in the one room of the entire property that overlooks my garden the entire time, while if I look up from the kitchen window to my right I can also glimpse The Room. You always know he's in because he rarely turns the music off. Above him is the penthouse but that's currently vacant, probably because it's so expensive.

The property is marketed as being for 'London professionals', because what kind of mentalist can sit in a small room day after day without going bat gooseberry fool raving mad. There's 6 (!) parks nearby, so it's not like there's nowhere to venture out to.

Sounds like someone who probably privately hates his life or his job or has nothing fulfilling going on so let's it all out through rap (and mood lighting). Sure I wouldn't agree with any of those lyrics but, this life ain't kind. Even if it's just his parents paying for his own place.

Plenty of oddballs out there, I know, I'm one of them.

You should move next to me. I played classical guitar, Bach, South American and Italian melancholy and such for 3 hours in the garden. I haven't been able to enjoy playing guitar outside for years because my old neighbour "accidentally" sprayed water on me, throw the back doors open, and blasted out Mumford and sons in retaliation. This time one of my neighbours actually clapped and thanked me. I'm that good :simper:

I felt great actually. Proper dead leg and everything /no context bait.

It's a slow process but it's something I do with a view to going busking wher I can actually make real money doing it.

I'm pretty reasonable with my music stuff. I'm getting some top end headphone soon so I can at last mix somewhat accurately without the monitors on but I guess there's not much you can do about a vocal which I'm planning to do, and I'm getting lessons as well.

I think I can sing, but again, where do you start...
