So what do we think:

* Nice gesture to join a group to chat about local events and promote friendliness and cohesion within the neighbourhood?

* Sinister trap door leading to the local swingers club and/or satanic cult?

You should absolutely join if it's the latter. If it's the former I wouldn't bother.

Counter it with an invite to join GRcade. We could have stool bloke on here soon :toot:

Then he’d get freaked right out about how much we ‘worship’ him and leave again.

I’ve doscovered recently that the mad cackling laughs that have tended to wake me up at midnight haven’t come from the flat above: they’ve come from the flat below. This changes everything. The flat below is student accommodation, I believe, and its previous occupants complained about me turning my white noise machine up too loud late at night while they were trying to get well-rested for their exams.

Now there's an idea! Someone needs to produce an official GRcade flyer that we can put through doors. "Join us to chat about Games + Stuff. No Pewdiepie fans"

There seems to be a reasonable number of old people living around me, they might get confused if I try to contact them directly. Perhaps I should just leave a note on the local dog poo box so they can read it next time they go to post something?

Tsunade wrote:Laga was the one who put it through your door

The plot thickens!

I'm not sure exactly who put it through the door, I don't think the note had a name on it. It basically said:

Hi neighbour.

We noticed you've moved in recently. Join us on nextdoor.co.uk

Sounds innocent enough.

Oh, and it also had the password included: "t0uchm3-69", so nothing to read in to there either. :shifty:

Definitely a swinger looking to get you involved. Or maybe, judging from some of the reviews around for the site, they want to lure you onto it with the promise of arranging an orgy only for you to get turned into the most hated person in your area as the website owners send them letters asking them to join with your name and address on.

Or maybe you'll just get called a racist and get continually attacked by those outside your area. It seems a very dodgy website that fails at its primary objective.

Would have been a better horror story if the next line was

For them, the horror story’s just beginning.

I won't cross my fingers, there's no telling what that would do to Hexx. :P

Yeah there seem to be some conflicting reports about the site. Like anything I guess it is only as good as the people using it, possibly not worth the risk!

Why is it so difficult to get any decent swinging action these days! ;)

Well I'd suggest heading to your local park of a night, but you never know who might be there.
Might get some action of a different sort.

Yeah, about that, there are two reasons for it.

1. I've barely seen him, he just hasn't been around let alone been engaging in any activities to make a nuisance of himself.
2. I've been dealing with some unpleasant personal crap lately and so haven't really had much time to focus on what he's up to.

I'm sure he'll do something annoying sooner or later though, summer is coming soon after all.
