We have some neighbours who seem to spend their days screaming and shouting at each other. And enjoys doing his DIY late at night.

This morning I bumped into him and he moaned at me about noise. He thinks we were banging on the wall (we absolutely weren't!) and being too noisy and it "just won't do bruv!".

All we did this morning was tidy a few things up (there was no banging!) and I hoovered at about 9.30.

strawberry floating idiot. The strawberry floating cheek of a noisy banana split like him moaning at anybody else.

Not really a complaint as it was actually kinda cool, but I saw a guy* who lives across the square, clinging on to the open door of a car (for all of 5 seconds) as it sped off down the road. Although I heard arguing beforehand, I didn't expect that gooseberry fool.

*he didn't come to any harm, in case anyone was curious.

A lot of my neighbours generally seem to be miserable bastards. I don't need/want to be overly chummy with them, but a "hello" when going past each other in the building wouldn't go amiss. Writing this now makes me feel like I'm the one who's the miserable bastard :fp: :slol:

Nobody ever said hello to anyone in all the flats I lived in.

I now live in a house in a small village where people I've never met will shout MORNING at me from across the street.

We got home from town yesterday to find our gate door broken with the handle being ripped off. Found out it was the fencing guys to do next doors fence, they climb over the gate broke our gate handle and unscrewed the door and let them selves into our garden to put new fence pannels in whilst we were out. The neighbours next door was in but they didn't want them to going through their garden, even though it's their fence that is being replaced.

So we can't enter or exit our side gate now and the company said they were coming today to fix it, but now it'll be later when they feel like it. strawberry floating cheek, my parents are furious we're thinking about reporting it to the police.

As for Costa Woman the landlord went round there today and told her off because her lad broke the dishwasher and she wants a new one. The bloke was telling her off and she pushed him out the way and drove off in a fit of rage. We spoke to the landlord and he's trying to get her out but because she's got depression the council is urging him to leave her be. She's apparently even said she'd take him to court for the state of the house if he wants her out.

That's definitely a criminal offence, damage to your property.

We're in a similar situation where are side gate is currently strawberry floated and has been for a week now. But our situation is because our gate was attached to the neighbour's fence post and their builders are so awful that they've replaced half of his fence and just left the rest until a later date. So our gate is still attached to the post but the post is now lose in the ground, falls into their garden and pulls our gate with it.

The company eventually came and fixed our gate, they told us 3 different dates then appeared out of the blue whilst we were out. The best thing is they didn't even if the handle properly so my dad have to fix it. We rung up the company and told them, but they said we should be grateful they even fixed the gate and it was aparently our fault their worker nearly hurt themselves when the handle fell off when he climbed over the fence.

Anyway we put a post up on the towns local Facebook page, with a load of pcitures and small description of what happened. Bad publicity won't do them any good.

To be honest for gooseberry fool diligence and customer service that's exactly what a business deserves.
I called out a business for craft etc sellers on Instagram (I like to balance the scales when I'm served a sponsored ad from a business I know is terrible, if you advertise to me then I can advertise to you how awful you are :simper:) that is pretty much a scam and sometime told me to "stop spamming the comments with hate". It's a sponsored advert you moron, it's not legitimate content, the comments are just attached to harvest leads  No idea why someone random would defend a bad business like that. Then again it was a profile full of poor furry art and "censored" something or other which is, well different.

This business had a complaint upheld by the ASA, basically they constantly misrepresent and lie about their site visitor figures to represent it as a great place to sell. They only seem to advertise to sellers, then run the same ads ("finally a UK alternative to etsy") to get more sellers
. Trouble is their site is gooseberry fool, literally the default WordPress woocommerce theme that anyone could set up. PayPal won't support them so they breach the T&Cs of another payment processor Stripe by making sellers sign up for their own stripe gateways. This is not how stripe is designed to work and eventually sellers will have all their funds frozen, effectively killing their businesses (if they sell anything at all which by most reports I've seen is not a lot).

The company is run by our person, a business administration graduate who's figured out predatory "sideswipe" or "negative selling" business models and they just sit on the cash from the seller subs and market to more sellers to keep the cash rolling in. They have a private selling group on Facebook where sellers advertise to... Other sellers in the group? Sound familiar? Yeah it's circular selling / multi tier marketing if not a ponzi scheme.

You can pretty safely know something is a scam if the business censors and deletes any and all criticism. I don't know how they're still running. gooseberry fool like that annoys me but perhaps what's more annoying are the plebs that cluelessly defend such businesses or brands. That's stupid and weird but exactly the kind of person dodgy businesses will happily take a monthly payment from. You only need a few people to put their faith in a bad service or idea specially if you don't actually make any investment in that product/service and just live off the proceeds. Bin bint leaves her dogs outside in the back garden all day when she goes to work. Sometimes they're quiet, sometimes they're noisey. Today is a noisey day, with one of them yapping non stop.

As much as I loath the term gaining traction in the UK, where we don't use the term vacation so it means nothing, at least he's actually doing it right by having a holiday in his home. I see the term being used to describe anyone having a break within the UK, which isn't correct.

Where's the pool? No holiday is complete without a pool, after all. There's a few inches of room between the chairs and tent for a puddle to form, I suppose.
