I take it you're not one for burying the body in the woods then.

If you go down in the woods today
You're sure of a big surprise
If you go down in the woods today
You'd better go in disguise!

For every sin that ever there was will gather there for certain because...
Every mistake that's left unresolved is sure of condemnation one day
There's plenty suspicion and corpses to greet and all kinds of abhorrent causes to blame
'Cause beneath the trees where nobody sees
They'll wither and squirm as long as they please
Yes that's the way police tape will stay, all around where my conscience went astray
Today's the day we spoiled a jolly good picnic

Some people just seem utterly incapable of not faffing around all the time. Constantly moving stuff around, in and out doors, up down up down. strawberry floating hell just sit down and chill out for 5 minutes.

My upstairs neighbour has a habit of making the same dull banging sounds the the exact same spot on odd occasions. It sounds like he's hammering a nail into wood, sometimes for ages at a time. At first I thought he may have a punch bag, but the sound is too different for it to be that. So I have no clue what it could be. Don't think he's screwing his wife either, as our flats are built the same and the sound always seems to be above the living room doorway.

Woken up at 3am by the woman next door screaming at her baby to 'stop strawberry floating crying' then slamming all the doors and shrieking for a bit. Obviously the baby shut right up after that...

It's been over a week and I haven't had a solid sleep. This morning, my neighbour was working out again at half 6, then he unleashed his loud as strawberry float son into the garden at half 7. Then the neighbour's dog started barking like crazy again. Then a bunch of kids were shouting on their way to school. I'm so tired. Constantly being woken up at half 6 with no chance to get back to sleep. I know half 6 isn't that crazy for some, and maybe I shouldn't go to bed so late, but then they win...

It's tough. If your surroundings don't suit your lifestyle, there's only one thing you can really do to change that which is move.

Have you tried earplugs? That may help block out enough of the noise so as to not awaken you.

I have a combination of white noise machines and earplugs, but nothing compares to this. Link it up to a ten-hour white noise video off YouTube or similar and I actually get a decent night's sleep. I can't wear them every night, but the nights I can are great.

I need to get me some of these!

I usually listen to rain/thunderstorm loops at night through normal headphones and it's never quite comfortable enough for me, this could be the solution!

I've got a 6 hour supermix of Ricky Gervais laughing that I put on to help me sleep.

For some reason I read that as "6 hour sperm mix" and now I can't get a disturbing image out of my head :dread:

How can you wear headphones all night!? I'm jealous. These are definitely better than that!
