Fed up talking videogames? Why?

Frame your neighbours for murder to get rid of them

Neighbours have friends in their garden today but absolutely no social distancing is taking place. I popped my head over the fence and shouted at them to "stop, in the name of Buffalo". Not sure if it helped.

You were supposed to go round, knock on the door and lay them out.

This is either a huge exaggeration or your neighbours house is on fire

I'm jealous of GG's neighbours tbh, being a teenager with a free property like that sounds like an absolute dream.

There probably is some degree of jealousy, I just wish the music wasn't so gooseberry fool and at least tried something new.

There's no better time in your life if you want to piss off the neighbours than to make some proper walls of noise with synths and guitar pedals rather than just tossing a few records on and making BWAAAAAWWAAHAHWA noises.

The amount of awesome kit I'd own by now if I had parents with unlimited pockets, fortunately I had my max student loan/grants for that as my mum was made redundant while my dad was compelled by divorce settlement to pay my rent. So I ended up rinsing it on a modest home studio while any money I made from web design etc going into a giant keyboard, guitar synthesiser and some other things.

I know what some degree of privelege looks like, kind of had a bit of the best of both worlds tbh. gooseberry fool parents but not too much control either.

I did that sort of thing during the day, or in student halls though. Par for the course. I didn't fling the windows open and "spit" at 2 in the mornin in a densely populated quiet town.

Woken up this morning by the chickens. THe coup was really small for four chickens. I've taken care of them before, they need to be let out at like 6am and fed or they'll never shut the strawberry float up, then put away again at night. I really doubt anyone is doing that at the moment seeing as the place is currently Chernobyl.

Its Saturday evening, you know what that means, it's time for Intermittently Hitting Something with a Hammer! Never mind they've had all day, it's time to do it now, now NOW!

Some tosser around here has been playing some 130bpm dance type music really loud since 6am. I can hear the beat and bass in the house, and opening a side window means you can hear some of the 'instruments' on it. I think it must be from about 5 houses away. Selfish banana split.

Edit: my wife has come back from walking the dog and said it's coming from a bungalow on a road about 8 minutes walk away :dread: She said it's absolutely deafening there.

Today my neighbours told me they actually enjoy when I practice guitar. I didn't know they could hear it.

The first band I was in (we just did covers) used to practice in the singer's parent's farm house that had a converted barn that was joined on to the main building. One day the neigbours stopped by and said that when we practiced, they used to sit in their garden and listen to us. We weren't great or anything, but it was nice to hear.

People enjoy listening to people play instruments more than you'd think.

I was going to correct this to say "people enjoy listening to people play instruments well" but then remembered that the Stereophonics are a successful live act and so that's obviously not true!

That song didn't exist back then. Great times.

And then they all stood up and clapped.
