One of my neighbours 3 doors away has inexplicably started a mini bonfire in his back garden tonight. Smells like the burning of paper more than anything. The smell is horrendous. Overheard his neighbour next door calling him out over it.

Who burns paper anyway? Use a shredder or just tear it up like a normal person.
