Degenerate Neighbour Bloke disappeared yesterday afternoon, but then was dropped off by the police just before 11pm.

After some raised voices (pretty sure the officer was giving him a bollocking), he then went inside, turned on his alexa, and played loud music until the early hours.

Total bellend.

Bike bloke is using an angle grinder on some stuff out the front of his house, on the side right next to his neighbours drive, then walking whatever he's cut around the other side to his back garden. I guess he wants to keep his own garden free of noise. As we have our front window open, the sound is coming straight across the street in to the front room :simper:

The neighbor is playing some sort of hold music piano jingle that lasts about 30 seconds over and over again - probably for about two hours now.

I don't know what he's doing up there or what it's from but he must be completely brain dead to listen to it on repeat for so long without going mad. It's like when a DVD menu loops and you can stand it a few times but then you have to turn the sound or TV off. But he's been happy to let it go on for hours.

Sadly not. This morning we've had his 3 fave songs on repeat again - Coldplay, The Scientist; Tones and I, Dance Monkey; Oasis, Champagne Supernova.

That is the most basic music taste I have ever seen.

Come on, let’s not pretend Champagne Supanova isn’t an absolute banger.

Sure - I'm from Manchester, I'm genetically predisposed to liking Oasis. But after playthrough 15 on the 76th consecutive day it starts to wear a bit thin. I just don't get the lack of variety. How are they not completely fed up by now.

They've got all the taste and creativity of a brick.

I counter that by finding interesting cover versions of catchy songs to get those stuck in my head instead:

Agreed, it's one of those songs you end up humming before you even know what it actually is.

I’d never heard Dance Monkey before this thread.

I hope I don’t hear it again.

Parachutes is a mostly great album.

Everything else they've done has got progresivly more shite. They're the go to petrol station album impulse buy band.

For the last four days, the neighbour two doors along from me has been pressure washing his patio like there's no tomorrow. I genuinely don't understand it.

Four strawberry floating days in a row.

I now have one neighbour who relentlessly washes his car and one that is obsessed with his patio. It's little wonder the water pressure here has dipped.

I lived with a friend for a bit many moons ago and he had a neighbour who was polite and friendly but played James Blunt - You're Beautiful at 11am every day at least twice. Just the weirdest thing.

To be fair to Red's guy I listen to synthwave when I'm working at home precisely because it's mindless background music and helps me concentrate on what I'm doing. :slol:

Every Friday and Saturday our neighbour through the wall puts a radio show that, mercifully, I don't think exists outside of Glasgow called GBX. It's like happy hardcore for three hours and it's utterly tortuous on the ears.

Our same neighbour has managed to keep his or her continuous supply of weed flowing so most days I'm woken up to the smell of the first toke of the morning. The kids across the back, who are usually borderline feral, have truly kicked it up a notch in isolation as well. Yesterday one of them made actual monkey sounds for half an hour. We also get the beautiful sound of the kids' father who just screams at them constantly.
