I'm not making this up, for real this stuff happens.

Come the summer we should be putting the house up for sale. I'll be glad to get away from this gooseberry fool hole, the past few years and the things we've put up with has really has broke me down mentally.

You need to post pics.

Aren't you required to declare ongoing disputes / issues with neighbours when selling a house? :shifty:

Also reading the last few pages - I like you call her 'costa woman' as if visiting Costas is her most significant quirk ;)

Seriously though sucks you have to live with this gooseberry fool man

That's only if you're in some kind of official dispute with them isn't it?

Whether you have to declare it or not, the real challenge is going to be having house viewings without any prospective buyers witnessing some of this gooseberry fool!

In some cases, literal gooseberry fool. :dread:

Pretty sure (having just bought a house and looked into this) it's up to the buyer to ask, the seller doesn't need to declare anything, only they can't outright lie (and if the buyer wanted to come back to them on something after the sale it could be tough going even with written evidence depending on what was asked and replied).

It's a bit of an ethical dilemma selling a house knowing there is a problem neighbour, but obviously you'd want to get out of the situation yourself so fundamentally its a failure of the systems at play!

At what point do you ask? When being shown around?

"Right, really subtle right, point to the one that shat in their garden the other day. I said subtle! ....them?! You sure? They don't seem the type. Guess it takes all kinds."

Neighbour's already set his sprinkler up on the front lawn. One day of sun and it was frosty this morning. Is there really any need?

This cannot be real.

But I remember my old neighbourhood and I can believe it.

I'm glad I'm surrounded by old, retired people who's biggest quirk is gossiping.

I call our street geriatric close.

Mid life crisis motorbike man is back in action now the weather is better. Has one of those easy rider type bikes thst sounds like a tank driving about, and doesn't do anything with it other than ride it up and down our bit of road for an hour before putting it in the garage until the next day.

Typical that he's a fair-weather rider.

Thought of you the other day when a distant neighbour cracked out the circular saw and was hammering at 10am in the lovely sunshine.

I'm pretty sure every village has a mid-life crisis motorcyclist. We have one too.

Our one is bald, has a goatee and likes to drive around at 11pm in his non-silenced bike waking all the kids up. We sometimes see him walking to the local shop in full biker leathers, even though he doesn't use his bike to go to the shop because it's about 100 yards from his house.

He's a cool biker! Never too late to follow your dreams.

There's actually 2 around here - the one I'm moaning about looks like he brews craft beer in his garage. Usually wears an open faced crash helmet with a white skull painted on it...while he rides it about 40ft up and down the road. Today he had no helmet on, presumably so he could show his new haircut off.

The other one does ride his bike properly, so I can't knock him for that, it's just as loud as a bomb going off. Its a proper easy rider bike, in full stars and stripes, and he has the matching outfit.

We've got a biker upstairs but we hardly see him as he's always out somewhere. I call him biker Bob. Last time I knew he was home was the time he was blasting ACDC for 5 minutes  seemingly decent bloke, he was really nice to us when we first moved in here.

Can't say there's been anything at all to complain about with my neighbours lately. The only loud noises are the sounds of a 2 year old toddler running around upstairs sometimes, which is to be expected, especially at that age. I don't think she understands that other people live in the same building because last time I popped out to the shop she was outside with her dad, and she looked so surprised that someone had come out the front door to the building

The couple downstairs have a cat that looks exactly like the cat from the Sheba cat food adverts and they're still taking it for walks on a leash around the buildings. It's quite an entertaining sight to see. I've hardly seen the neighbour across from me in some time now, but I know he's about, his door makes a right noise when he leaves his flat so we always unintentionally know when he's going out. And the old bloke downstairs has a new car which he takes out on the odd occasion and he's seemingly stopped curtain twitching. For a council estate it's been really quiet around here for the past few months!

Costa Woman daughter had a positive test for the virus, so what does she do? Let her go out shopping and round her mates house.
I've dobbed her in with the school
