gg, Drummy. I wish every street had an officer Drumstick.

My neighbour situation went further downhill over the past week. In brief: drugs, eviction, another break-in, multiple people accessing the flat, eviction again, boarded up, someone scoping out the site. It's tough getting through this.

We moved in January to a small cul-de-sac. One person in the close, a young lad, is partial to a few spliffs each day which normally we only get a faint whiff of as his house is about 30 yards away from our houses. Last night, however, we got a phone call from our next-door neighbour about it as it was apparently stronger than normal and stinking out the entire cul-de-sac. I stepped outside and I gooseberry fool you not, never have I ever smelled weed so potent. My wife is 7 months pregnant and the neighbour's daughter also has a heart condition so I was asked to go and have a chat with the lad. A police officer that is at least 6'4'' and very well built lives two doors along so a little confused why I got tasked with this

Anyway, went and had a chat with him and he was cool about it.

That's awful. The last thing you would want is to get contact high from secondary smoking.

Speaking of smoke, I can smell it right now, and it ain't the sort which would get you high.

I think bonfire wanker might be at it again, because of course, when the hot weather arrives, being allowed to breathe fresh air is presumably only for vip's such as royalty or govt ministers.

My neighbor has got a pizza oven. Now my garden smells like burnt toast.

I dont get why people want to go cooking outside the moment it gets hot. The last thing I want in hot weather is hot food, especially hot food from some random piece of back garden equipment likely to cause food poisoning.

BBQ food is amazing and it's only likely to cause food poisoning if you don't cook the food properly, same as anything else.

Been sleeping away from my place due to concerns about drugged-up tossers returning to neighbouring flat. Went back home earlier and had reports that drugged-up tossers returned to neighbouring flat about an hour before I was there. They couldn't get in... but last time this happened they returned and broke in. Sleeping away from home again tonight.

This sh!t really grinds you down over the months.

Slept at my place last night and - hoorah! - nobody broke into the neighbour's flat. With the place currently boarded up, hopefully we're reaching a point where the tossers stay away and normality can resume. We'll see.

Thanks, man. I know at times my flats sound like they're in a war-torn, gangland area but they're generally okay; it's just that one bad apple can quickly make life bad for other residents. Hopefully drugs selling and prostitution will be off the agenda when the next person moves in.
