Fed up talking videogames? Why?

Someone has been around here and put blue rosettes around all the lamp posts on a few of the roads. I presume it's some NHS thing, but when people do this sort of thing they never tidy it up again. I expect to see them tatty and faded, still on there in a month or two. My wife took the dog through the woodland walk this morning (the one with the sprayed pink dog gooseberry fool) and apparently someone has now gone and cable tied fake flowers in the bushes :fp:

This whole situation really is a busy-bodies' dream.

I hope they clap for the street cleaners that will be picking up the rosettes.

Bin bint's mum round stood shoulder to shoulder with her, lifting some stuff and helping her with gardening.

10/10 would isolate again.

Interesting, bin bint doesn't really strike me as much of a gardener - beyond maintaining her bush obviously!

She's not. Her (clearly seperated) parents turn up at various intervals throughout the week to do her gardening, put her washing on the line, put the bins out (and take them back in, she never does it herself). Her dad was here all day yesterday mowing the lawn for her. The only reason she's helping the mum is becuase there are 4 massive decking plank sized boxes out the front and she can't carry them on her own due to looking like she's in her 70s.

Was sat here quietly browsing Grcade when smoke started filling the room.

Stool Bloke has started burning his rubbish using one of those portable barbecue things.

Neighbour is power washing seemingly everything they own and the spray is landing on and filthying up our windows.

Can't really say anything though as my wife joined the power wash crew last month, cleaning our patio, so we might be guilty of the same offense.

Yesterday, Power Wash neighbour spent 30 minutes spraying his garage door.

Today, it's back to the grind with the patio.

I misread that and wondered why he was grinding on a potato.

Boil 'em, mash 'em, grind 'em in a stew.

I know what this lovely natural woodland area needs!

And then there's this:

Hey here's an idea, just take the old one off the wall instead of lazily lashing a new one to the gate right beside it :fp:

It's a listed Grade 2 letterbox and adds character to the property, especially at Halloween, therefore can't be removed. OBVIOUSLY.

You joke but this might actually be the case. When a building is listed there's some strawberry floating dumb rules. I lived in a listed building and there was gaps all around the front door, but the door couldn't be changed.

Or put an identical one on the other letter box. It will end up like something out of Labyrinth.

My American neighbour is playing Joseph and his technicolour dreamboats again.

This bloke LIVES for the musical. It's literally the first thing he puts on in the morning.

la, la, la, la, la, la, la....JOSEPH! duh, duh duh duh....

Breakfast, lunchtime, dinner...JOSEPH! duh, duh, duh, duh.
