Fun fact: at primary school I was picked against my will to be the pharoah in our school production of Joseph. A role which involved the shy me singing various musical numbers in front of the entire school. I was told on a Friday, given a sheet of lyrics and on Monday made to stand up.in front of the whole year and sing the songs. I got chastised there and then for not rehearsing and was made to cry. I told them I wasn't going to do the play 3 days before the parents viewing. My teacher had to sub for me. This is probably where my reluctance to sing in front of anyone comes from.

You were too shy to sing at school?

Strange, I thought you were bolder than that.

That only works with the zummerzet pronunciation of bald.

What a shitty thing to put a kid through. strawberry floating banana splits. They also made me write a poem (they'd identified I was good at writing rhymes) about a school holiday we had in swanage () AND say it in front of the whole school, in our last church assembly before secondary school. I got the ever loving gooseberry fool ripped out of me for that.

I'd love to get famous for something musical and then go back to just call them all banana splits.

That is a shitty move, probably dressed it up as "bringing you out of your shell" or some bullshit like that. :dread:

Just send them a link to your Christmas tunes, I'm sure they'll realise your genius immediately. ;)

I auditioned to be Joseph but got offered the part of his father, who sings one line in the whole thing.

I politely turned it down, preferring to just be in the chorus, and got absolutely chastised in front of the whole class. Not even just once, the teacher continued to bring up how I'd "thrown a paddy" for weeks after the event.

Teaching are strawberry floating a'holes.

Ad7 loves his humblebrags!

"Oh they insisted I take a singing role in the play"

"They noticed I was good at poems"

I am a strawberry floating genius though, and they could see it even back then.

Leaf blower bloke has been out with his lead blower, blowing away the non existent leaves from his front lawn.

Bin bint has had a friend turn up who's just walked straight in the house.

Our neighbours are hosting another front lawn picnic, with their elderly friends, right outside our front window. We've retreated into our bank garden for now, it's too warm to use the TV anyway.

Steve and Calvin have discovered the Beatles, which is marginally more bearable than Queen to be blasting out of their top window into the garden, making it impossible to sit out in the sun peacefully.

I also had to pass on sex earlier because they were sunbathing right outside our bedroom window and knowing there were two semi-naked chubby hairy Geordies in tiny shorts within five metres of our location was off-putting.

Can't during the evening, the sun shines directly in the front of the house which means the camera can't get a decent shot, and i'd be lit up like a christmas tree if i tried.

Thankfully non existent, and they all decided to sod off at around 8pm which was most fortunate.

It's probably time to stop taking photos of your neighbours to be honest.

This could totally become one of those Netflix true crime documentaries.

"When the police searched the victim's house, however, they discovered something chilling. The victims computer was full of hundreds of candid photos of his neighbours, taken over many years.

Further investigation revealed the victim was in fact part of a large online community, dedicated to spying on their neighbours, all over the UK. "
