Truly the worst Megaman stage.

We have a collection of houses a bit down from us who have what I can only describe as "cackle parties" - the music isn't particularly loud but there are a bevy of women who seem to stand in their back garden cackling in a shrill tone every minute or so, about what I have no idea. They must either be drunk or very easily amused.

Oh God, the cackling. For me it’s local teens who seem to have nothing better to do than hang around outside my window (sound carries up 11 stories better than you’d think/hope) after eleven. The laughter drives me loopy.

See also: people sitting on the bench just outside my block and having VERY LOUD PHONE CALLS.

That's one of the more annoying things about Cuntman and his cretinous horde of tool friends - because they absolutely cannot get by without the boom-boom music, that means they have to use their outside voices despite there being no other noise in the vicinity.

They couldn't just turn the music down and lower their voices in tandem; that would be too courteous.

C*ntman and the Tool Friends were never really going to threaten the singles charts if we’re honest.

Regrettably he appears to have the week off so I'm having to suffer through their collective cuntery for the time being.

Should be moving house in July though. :toot:

Tsunade wrote:The lady downstairs is feeding the stray cats of the estate with a small pot that she fills with food and a lid that she puts fresh water into every day. These strays have been around for ages and shes been feeding them since she first moved in with her husband about 8 months ago now. Lately shes put the food near to the back door because its sheltered "and I dont want the poor kitties to get wet". No one has had any problems with her feeding them. Till now.

Now I have old git living across from this woman. Hes the old meaning twit who lives below me who has to know everyone's business all the time. I had a delivery come, and i went outside to talk to the delivery driver because something had gone wrong with our order. Old git comes out to be nosy, realises I'm coming back in and starts complaining that she shouldn't be feeding the cats because he doesn't want them there. Now she comes out asking if the cats were there. As soon as he saw her, his demeanour changed from old whiner to old bastard. He looked at her as if she had stood in something rotten and said in his gruffest voice "I have a letter for you" before marching into his flat. I ran back upstairs to my flat to get away from any arguing (that and if I stayed he would have been trying to get me to argue too).

I went out the back today. The bowls have been moved.

I'd be careful if I were you. My auntie lives in essentially 3 abandoned houses in the south of France, left by my grandfather (an architect) as my granny now lives with my mother here because she has dementia. I don't think my Aunt has paid rent to anyone for like 20+ years, but she started feeding the wildcats after my grandad past away from cancer, and the cat they had died (it got eaten alive while sleeping in the heat by blue bottle flies :dread:).

First there were maybe 4 strays

Now I gooseberry fool you not there are over 30 stray cats with multiple ones pregnant at any time. She posts photos of the cats constantly on Facebook and takes hundreds of photos, but complains when people talk to her about cats or comment on her cat-related hobbies in case she's perceived as a mad cat lady (well, she is). Once she complained because she ran out of space on an old Mac my Uncle left for here (he works in IT), this was using an old digital camera that she got from my brother which was my mums (i.e. buys nothing herself). So she bought a 1TB hard drive until that ran out. Then it corrupted and came to me to get it fixed. Since there are so many cats there we can't sell the property because it's literally destroyed by cat spray and piss.

Now part of the reason my Granny moved here is she couldn't deal with all these strawberry floating cats pissing in her home so she basically upped and left.

Just strawberry floating shoot the cats that should never have been fed or let into the houses and stop taking pictures of them for 10+ years, problem solved. It's strawberry floating insane and nobody wants to tell my aunt to simply strawberry float off and find somewhere else to live. She's about 63.

I haven't visited in ten years despite these houses being amazing since my grandad did build them and it's a great place to get away, there's a pool as well. This place could easily be rented and generate a lot of revenue to take care of my grandmother and the property itself which is now derelict, roofs leaking, drains left uncleared and flooding, etc.

Moral of the story, don't feed stray cats, they multiply.

Last week on a work day, neighbour went out to his garden at 6:30 am. Kid comes running out shouting his head off AGAIN, asking what his dad is up to, etc. Generic kid questions. They go back inside after like 5 minutes. Guess the Dad left something in the garden? Nice of him to do that at 6:30 AM on a work day tho. 2 hours of broken sleep does wonders, as everyone knows

8:24am, Pressure Wash Bloke is currently annihilating his garage door with water.

Cuntman's back door has been open for a while but no boom-boom music yet...

Leaf blower bloke was out for half an hour yesterday with his petrol handheld blower ( :datass: ), making a comedy amount of noise, blowing his totally clear of leaves anyway drive and front garden. The thing is so strawberry floating loud that he has to wear ear defenders.

Must be too hot here for the usual suspects, as it's quiet again this morning.

This is a new one, at about 10.30pm some one seems to start throwing glass bottles in to their recycling box. Clearly they decided that is not antisocial enough, so now they throw one out about every 5 minutes for three quarters of an hour.
At least it’s nice and cool so I can have the window shu.... oh wait, no if I strawberry floating can’t.
